Dear brothers and sisters. Please pray for me. For about 15 years I have been struggling with debilitating sickness that's made my life unberable. I am in my mid 30 and would love to still have streingth to serve my Savior and Lord. By the stripes of Jesus Christ I have been healed. Thank you all 🙏🏻 Please also pray that God grants me strength to go through this valley with humility and thankfulness. Please also pray that the fire of Holy Spirit would be with me. Ask the Lord to show you ways you can serve Him even in sickness, He will. I’ve got multiple chronic illnesses and He’s both given me ways to serve and the strength to serve. I recently heard of a frail missionary in his eighties who said he still served his mission full time. When asked how, he said that he prayed for eight hours a day. Prayer may not feel liked active service but it’s one of, if not the biggest way we can serve. ❤

I work in a Christian school and meet Christians from every stripe and color. One thing that grieves me is the immersion in the things if the world. We have fallen for the lie that we "need" things. Yes, I need a smart phone to keep up with my job and family, but I don't need to be on my phone on social media all day. If my shirt is so worn that I'm embarassed to wear it, is different than I need a new one because this color is no longer in vogue. Thank you Pastor Conway for this, the church needs a wake up call about her true needs. One of the saddest verses in the Bible to me is Psalm 106:15. "Then gave He their desires: but sent leanness to their souls." Will the LORD find us faithful when He comes. Or will we be found adulterers, drooling over the pleasures of the world?

From time to time I like to hear a sermon by Tim Conway, but I get this feeling that he is the "rebuking preacher". It is good and necessary to hear the hard truth, but I dont like it that I am getting only that impression of him. Maybe I didnt listen to enough sermons by him. Bless him

I believe part of why one might feel that way can be attributed to a spiritual gift of exhortation that Tim has (Romans 12: "exhort with zeal"). As a result, his preaching often includes strong exhortations directed toward believers, as Colossians says, "warning one another." We desperately need men like that in the days we are living in. Oh I pray that the Lord would raise up more men with the power and spirit of Elijah and John the Baptist. Bold men that are completely set apart from this world and aren’t afraid to tear down the idols of our day. Too many are bound in chains to Hell. Too many desperately need to hear hard truths to break their sin hardened hearts. Oh I pray the Lord would raise up bold men that are on fire for His Holy name and preach true repentance again!

I like listening to Tim. He explains things so exacting. It's the knife that cuts through to the bone. He thinks through so thoroughly. I cringe many a time when I listen but glad to hear someone who preaches the truth. He helps me to know how to walk with God.
