Illegal Mining | Rescuse mission continues at Sabie Mine

A rescue mission continues in Sabie Mpumalanga to bring suspected illegal miners to the surface from an abandoned mine. Three bodies have been retrieved and hundreds others are believed to be trapped underground. Police and SANDF members are at the scene carrying out the operation.
Some of those who have resurfaced so far say they have been forced to mine for gold under dangerous conditions.
