Thanks for the info! Could you talk about laser sights in Chicago? I would like to have a laser on the side of my firearm, Kimber Micro 9 with Crimson laser( maybe look it up to see it), its not on top by the sights nor underneath directly. I'm wondering if they would still qualify as an illegal laser sight in Chicago? I wouldn't want that as my main carry then i'd have to always worry about remembering before I go to Chicago on a random day.

This is great information. I just completed my IL CC class and applied for my license. I'm trying to get as much as my information as I can on laws, etc. The instructor I had didn't seem to be that knowledgeable on the laws He never went over the three items on this video. Great video, I was just telling some newbies who just got they CCL license here in Chicago they can't be eager to shoot somebody, it's too many getting they're license for the wrong reasons. I flew to Pittsburgh for the Bears game back in 2021 and didn't take my firearm because I already knew about the laws there. I went with US Law Shield due to the fact that they were present at my CCL class at Midwest Guns. I tell people all the time to download the Legal Heat app and start studying the laws not just here but in other states you have desire of going to. Carrying a empty chamber is suicide you might as well not even carry I was trained to stay ready so you don't have to get ready. I will share this video here. How did you get a Walthers? I tried to order one online they told me they me they was prohibited here along with Hi Point and Phoenix HP. Or maybe they just don't ship them here my order was denied. Again, great video

The more crime spikes, and our state seems to want to disarm us responsible citizens, the more concerned I've become that I need to be carrying to be able to protect myself and my family. For a licensed conceal and carry holder using their gun to protect themselves, is the gun destroyed after the holder's arrest? In Illinois I heard that Kim Fox office ordered that the conceal carry holder's weapons are not returned to them...

Great question, however, that is not true. Your gun will be confiscated pending an investigation. Your gun will be kept and destroy if it is proven the shooting was not self-defense.
