I was there that day. I drove up from Kansas City the day before and spent a few hours there. I hadn’t been there in over 40 years I guess. It was great. I rode the “SCOOT” the C&W suburban to the end of track. I was in car Number 1. First running of the day. Then I drove back to Kansas City in about 8 hours, nuts ain’t it?
