@@Ana_leaf Thank you Ana. It's for those who don't go to Theatre or City's exibitions where they can meet other people the kinds of people that do not go to Pubs and Bars, restorants and discotakes. It's because of that. We can't meet. For those who are searching for love, and can not find one another. Even the airport or autobus stations are not able to have people meet and fall in love. Some people are up, some are down. Some people are rich, some are poor. Ultimate goal, looking for love. Searching for the one. Where is he?

it was around 2pm on Christmas day, a single stranger leaning over the edge of the hotel balcony roof. Alone and smoking his cigarette, looking out at the world whilst I looked up at him from the train station below. He had been there for quite a while I could tell, a strange stranger who I never saw again. I knew nothing about him and yet in that moment, it was as if I knew his soul as well as I knew my own.

Be unique, be yourself, people are uncomfortable with - individual people - who don't follow the crowd. You are looked upon as weird - an oddity, strange. But you don't have to march to another persons drum beat. As the man said, beware of those that seek constant crowds, for they are nothing alone. I have listened to many poems and read many books by Charles Bukowski, but for some reason it means so much more to me now. Take care X

I like to give the strangers my ears. To hear what they have to say and nobody else wants to listen. Maybe because I always wanted someone to hear me. Now I am this, this shallow shell of what I could have become. I do not wish this for anyone, thus I make myself the ears for the strangers so they could be the best versions of themselves, even if this leads to their deaths.

Thank you for doing this. I used to do the same, except I didn't give them my ears. I gave them my entire soul. I saw with their eyes, listened with their ears, thought with their mind and cried with their tears. Especially the last one. Because unlike anybody else, he also understood me. Like no other. Until life's cruel ways drove him away from me. And since then I haven't had eyes, music, or tears. Only thoughts. Perhaps I'll get up and grow one day. Because there are so many beautiful people out there and I know exactly how it feels to never be known truthfully.

you won’t see them often for wherever the crowd is they are not. those odd ones, not many but from them come the few good paintings the few good symphonies the few good books and other works. and from the best of the strange ones perhaps nothing. they are their own paintings their own books their own music their own work. sometimes I think I see them - say a certain old man sitting on a certain bench in a certain way or a quick face going the other way in a passing automobile or there’s a certain motion of the hands of a bag-boy or a bag- girl while packing supermarket groceries. sometimes it is even somebody you have been living with for some time - you will notice a lightning quick glance never seen from them before. sometimes you will only note their existance suddenly in vivid recall some months some years after they are gone. I remember such a one - he was about 20 years old drunk at 10 a.m. staring into a cracked New Orleans mirror facing dreaming against the walls of the world where did I go?

Hello, ive listened to this video a minimum of ten times, youve reintroduced me to C Bukowski. And this work especially hits me, makes me stop. The sounds, music, video, poetry, and reading by Bukowski all blend together. Ive discovred something new, thank You for sharing Your work.

I think that this poem talks more about the essence of people... it doesn’t necessarily need to be some ultra profound thing, it sometimes manifest itself in some gestures, glimpses, or even a way of saying or doing simple things in such a manner that make them unique.

I love this works, u're one of the maybe 5 stuffs i came here for. I guess with genius came sadness, there's an amount of reality, of perception, of vision... that cames with it... i remember bennedetti said "...an with those jumps some of them change the world an others breaks their neck... and with broken neck and visionaries of half centuries, we make history"

Idk who has the same anger as mine, but see I'm an atheist and my family knows about it but they kept on pushing me to go to church, preach, sing and pray. It extremely drains me inside, i always feel tired and consumed everytime i get home. Idk how to leave religion without hurting my parents. It drains me soo much

I made this,, would like to know your thoughts Painter There he is, painting that sky. Gray and dull sky, Never gives warmth to others, Colorless boring sky, Just sitting there, Waiting for the night. There he is, painting that tree. Gray and dull tree, Never enjoyed the sunlight, Never enjoyed the rain, Just sitting there, Waiting for the withering. There he is, painting that houses. Gray and dull houses, Never sheltered memories, Never sheltered a smile, Just sitting there, Waiting for another visitor. There he is, looking at his painting. Gray and dull painting, Never meant for someone, Never meant to be beautiful, Just to pass time, Waiting for yet another boring day.

@@illneas You don't understand what he is saying, what he is trying to say. That's okay. He is a man. And it hurts. Not just his pride. How would you feel if it had happened to you? He is not! It is the reason, for example if you had seen Mr Harry the Prince when he was humiliated publicly by an old woman who pulled him in front of the recording live camera and gaved him kiss on the mouth. Embarrassing to say the least. How dares she? Why did she do it? Disgusting. He certanly did not want to kiss and old woman! Thank you for uploading. And sharing this precious encient piece of art with us. You have a heart.

I too am not one he speaks of however that gives me hope of a better understanding and life in this wild and wilderness with other species of human kind. Extraordinary. Hope they are more friendly and kind than agressive and treathaning/attacing, defending them selves when nobody is not even pointing a finger at them. Yet maybe being fearful, for no reason attacking the innoccent, it is not justifiable. So therefore it is nice to see some are calm and unafraid as nobody is attaching them!!! Or accusing them of anything! Its a Zoo this Planet we are living on. And we all can and should live together next to each other without attaching each other when no body even provoked you. And accussing another for something they didn't do is unjustificeable. After the accusation is made and damage is done IS LATE! I hope we all can understand that. Thank you for listening. Have a good day, and a long life.

I've heard his voice once before (only to forget what he sounded like), but seen his face plenty. For some strange reason, I expected him to sound like Tom O'Bedlam. I couldn't correlate his image to his low-key whiny voice, initially. But his original voice suits him more; though it leans on weariness, it's remarkably crisp and strong, as if it'll hold him up. And this photographic love letter, a poem of images, is so hypnotic yet tranquil. I get lost whenever I look at the sunlit waves, and then the next frame forces me to come to, only to find myself among strange but pleasant silhouettes on a golden day. I think, this is what they mean when they say what a joy and blessing it is to be living. Kudos to you for bottling rare and fickle magic so deftly.

@@DMBfan36 Hey, Brian. I hope you're well! This is all kinda weird, isn't it? I mean, like you (I suspect), I think we have had the good fortune to stumble across an exceptional artist, maybe even somebody conceivably possessed of genius. I don't get excited often, I surprise myself at how much I like illneas' output - old & cynical! - but this guy seems to bring everything together in a deceptively simple way that really touches people, way, way, down deep. I have appreciated Bukowski for more than 30 years. This dude somehow brings something fresh & magical to the table. I totally agree with your assertion. He should keep going, no matter what! Anyway, I liked your comments. Be happy, bro.

oh my god. this brought up memories i don't think of as much any more. i couldn't, it would make day-to-day life impossible. the man who was my soul and died of a drug overdose in 1998. the color was turned off that day, never to return. bukowski always makes me think of him, tom waits too. what a bummer. two lives wasted.
