16:54 Chills of a horror film. I love how well they directed this scene to show how menacing Hisoka is, it was so well done! Usually I advise people to go back and watch 1999 HXH so they can get a grasp of how unique the atmosphere was but 2011 HXH in my opinion is just as good if not better at showcasing individual characters and what makes them unique. It's comparable to 2003 FMA and 2009 FMA Brotherhood, 2003 FMA was more character driven and had a phenomenal atmosphere while 2009 FMA Brotherhood was story driven and more comedic. Both had their own strong points and equally loved for different reasons.

Actually the word Hisoka used 'yaru' is the same Illumi used at 10:00 and was there translated as "kill" even though Illumi has no intention to kill Killua (bc he's family)... literally it's "when I 'do' you" but obviously Illumi doesn't mean to kill or r*** Killua so the translation is lacking here as well... The word 'yaru', like 'do' in English, has a broad meaning (and there's no difference with the manga this is just a choice of translation given the context) Hisoka's gesture just points towards the 'r***' meaning as a reminder of his tendencies it's like a weird Easter egg
