So, I find illuminations grinch and onceler so similar cuz like, not only are they suess characters, but like they were smmm more mean and awful in there og versions. And they do both get redeemed, but also like, not rlly? Like, the onceler made another kid do the work to fix his mistakes and the grinch needed his heart to grow in order to feel a lick of empty for anyone. But in the illumination version, they js made them a lot more redeemable. They both have sad backstories and kinda come across as nicer in a way. Like, onceler In the illumination version seemed like a ligit chill and nice guy before getting greedy whilst in the og he was a jerk through and through and in the grinch he was still sorta a jerk like in the og, but he's a lot more toned down and honestly even I'd he don't show it, does actually seem to have more of a heart in the illumination version, js kinda a sad introvert who needs a hug. And they're motivation seem to change sm in these versions. Like in the og lorax, he did everything himself for money, while in 2012 he was pretty much manipulated and seemed like he was tryna get his families love. And in the og grinch his whole motivation is being an asshole and that's literally it, like that's the whole point. And in illumination, it seems more his motivation is never having a good Christmas because of growing up in the orphanage. Plus, they got rid of things that made the characters more unlikable. Like for onceler, in the og he didn't seem too sympathetic for causing the animals to be homeless, whilst illumination seems to genuinely feel horrible for what he's done. And the grinch is a much smaller change, which is pretty much not having the grinch abuse his dog in illuminations version. Do you think illumination has a thing for changing dr suess villains? Like, its happened twice. How do you feel about those changes? Tbh, I'm a lot more nutruel with the grinches changes, but I don't like the oncelers changes at all

That's a pretty good ranking. You're actually one of the first people to put onceler in 3rd least evil. Ig it makes sense since he was actually a pretty nice guy in the beginning and only really became a villian for like, 5 minutes. And felt bad at the end and was js manipulated in the first place. Because Kamek is genuinely loyal to Bowser and is doing deeds under orders. Koopa General isn’t loyal to anyone and clearly shows absolute sadism in following Bowser’s orders.
