This is by far the best beginner tutorial for the pen tool after browsing for weeks. It's so frustrating as a sketch artist to learn software and bring your drawing to life. I have so many sketched designs and logos I need to vector... there's no time like to present to learn.

My professor gave us a tutorial game that was supposed to help us learn the Pen Tool in Adobe Illustrator. It, in layman's terms, sucks! There was no explanation on how the Shift and Alt buttons were supposed to help with creating the curves. Then, I found this video and it explained everything so simply, I was able to follow along without many hiccups. This was simple and easy. Thank you for making this video!
