@@MrEvanNoyes Not really, the length of a day depends on lots of things, time of year, every local earthquake that ever happened, longitude, and more. For some places where people live on earth right now there are significant portions of the year where a single day and night cycle lasts 40 * 24 hours The number of 1/32768ths of a second since january 1 1970 measured by vibrating quartz forks or even faster with radioactive decay is however highly consistent at measuring out chunks of 24 hours for humans around the globe to set their clocks by. Don't mistake that measurement for a day though, the day cycle refers to astronomical shadowing

At 5:21, we can see a lily of the valley patch on the right, inside the cornflower patch. As far as I know, lily of the valley patches always generate inside a cornflower patch. Yeah, nothing special. Just full rows of hopper minecarts with an amethyst cluster unloading system, funneling it into an automatic sorting system capable of handling 90,000 items an hour, then attaching a shulker loader to a storage system while the machine is being fed bonemeal through a shulker unloading station and the built-in auto-composting arrangement that priority feeds before taking from the shulker unloader. I was in a similar situation requiring a bunch of flower farms (except I made all of the types), and I have a couple of thoughts: • Lily of the valley is indeed weirdly rare. I had a large area of flower forest near my base and only found one suitable area, qnd even then it was on the edge of a sharp drop lol. I guess they must be at the extreme end of the noisemap or something • Regarding finding the flowers in 3d, I tried using a mod called FlowerMap but found it tricky to judge position & scale with it. In the end the best solution for me was mostly to have a few command blocks constantly deleting everything except the flowers and just run around fast-right-clicking with bonemeal to reveal potential areas. One thing FlowerMap did show me was that the areas for each plant type were smaller in the meadow, which I suppose makes finding good spots harder, though I was still able to get a couple of good spots from a nearby meadow.

The flower gradient is 3D now (as of 1.18 I think), where in earlier versions it was 2D (same flower at every height previously, but now the height also effects the flower that spawns). So If you can't find the flower you want, you can check at different heights for them. But that also means building the farm at the correct height, where previously that didn't matter.

In the latest hermicraft episode Xisuma posted, he went through several iterations of a flower farm, including one very similar with the breaking minecarts. But in the final version, he ended up using a couple of Allays to pick up the items and unloading them using only one minecart. Not sure if it's more efficient or less laggier, but it's an interesting concept, definitely worth taking a look.
