For the record , the inner side muscles of your arms are control you hands so if you hit hard at the inner side of his forearm his hand gonna lose strength and a knife will fall , i already did that. Very easy knife disarm.

This guy already develop the reflex and muscle memory due to intensive training daily. Last time i learn silat and one day i snap on my master because he kick me so hard. I challange him to let me hit him with a baseball bat as i said that his silat will never usefull. In my mind i always think that he can do such move bcoz he instruct us how to hit him. Now he dont know how im gonna attack him. Sadly after 3 swing on the master, he grab me, lock my arm until the bat fall and i cannot move a single muscle. Starting that day i have much respect at the people who devoted themselve in martial art. Dont try to mess with them

Silat is meant to kill, yes I agree not just the have good reflex, they can see many opening in the enemy so they can counter attack, this we call as read the movement or baca gerak

Yea that make sense. I learned how to rap by constantly freestyle out of nothing, and when it came time for me to freestyle, its easy when it became second nature, repetition does help
