i always hated S1 courtney’s elimination because it led to a spiral of butterfly effects one after the other. Courtney would’ve still been the same Courtney from S1, Duncan would have never cheated, Trent wouldn’t have been so jealous over Gwen and Duncan and even if Gwent still broke up they could’ve had a slight possibility of getting back together since Duncan and Gwen wouldn’t have been together. obviously we would have to sacrifice Scottney as well but as much as i like them it’s a small price to pay to keep Duncney and S1 Courtney

Everyone is going after Harold but remember that he did this because Duncan tormented him each episode. Harold helped them win so many challenges, Dodgebrawl, Talent Contest, Paintball Deer Hunter, Who Can You Trust...he was not a bad teammate. The only way he could really stick it to Duncan for bullying him the whole time was by getting him where it hurts and that was Courtney. Plus, pay attention to the elimination - Courtney was smiling smugly thinking she was safe. So she voted him off with everyone else - why did everyone vote off Harold? He literally never stood a chance because of a popularity contest, and if he got voted off for nothing it would've made everyone on the Killer Bass save for Bridgette total bullies. And it all was due to Duncan bullying him from the start. Also - even if Courtney defended Harold earlier, it meant nothing if she continued to run along with the people doing the bullying and tried to help them get rid of the same person she was trying to defend.

harold was super smart for rigging the votes to get courtney out; maybe one of the smartest things a contestant’s done. he was the only one of the guys who wasn’t present for the kiss - duncan had no idea that harold knew about his feelings for courtney, hence he wouldn’t have known it was him that got her kicked off. had he rigged the votes for duncan to get booted, duncan would’ve immediately known who’s fault it was and would’ve still had it out for him. courtney would’ve also known it was harold’s fault, and likely would’ve turned on him afterwards. of course harold gets voted in the next episode, but even in that short time we can see duncan is a little more subdued because he’s upset about courtney.
