Yup!! In 30 years of playing hoops.....I've seen this numerous times. The young bucks have all the speed and athleticism but old cats know how to use that against them. You'd be amazed how a simple pump or shot fake sends the young bucks flying in the air. Once that happens....buckets all day.

I tried the shooting technique you taught and corrected my base. I have been practicing every day before school assembly, during break and after school. Working on my stamina with mum and dad and man so they make me run a lot. A lot. But guess what I'm finally in the first five of my team I'm happy. I can shoot from all directions working on my three pointers though. I'm going to try this workout now and keep getting better and better thanks a lot coach.

Thanks coach! You're ability to break down and explain complex moves in such a simple way is amazing! My girls (11 & 13) have been in YMCA summer leagues and private trainers off and on for four years now. They enjoy playing and training but havent developed a passion for it yet. They honestly dont have a "passion" for any of thier extracurriculars (dance, STEAM, drums, singing theater, martial arts...). I just want them to have one or two active hobbies to teach them discipline, time management and team work. Your vids are are extremely helpful. Thanks again and keep Shinning, sir!!! 👑🙏🏾✌🏾✊🏾

3:22 WE ALL MESS UP, and it doesn't matter, get right back to it, just keep going forward!!! This is some of the most underrated and essential advice in pursuing anything! From basketball to guitar to riding a horse to gardening, don't worry about what you did wrong, but get right back to it and apply the wisdom you gained from your mistakes! Even the best of THE BEST screw up, so whatever, it happens, because we are not robots, we are humans! Edit: I'm an avid jump roper, and I can relate many of these dribbling drills into corresponding jump rope tricks (crosses, side swipes, etc) because in either case there's a "dominant" hand that does the technique, but the corresponding dominant leg is usually on the opposite side (dominant right hand with left foot forward, dominant left and with right foot forward).
