I'm almost finished with mine! I did download your extremely helpful pdf and mine is a bit longer though same dimensions otherwise; so easy! Hardest part is measuring/cutting accurately so take your time if you are trying this. Also use a good blade as foam board is a few layers and a clean cut is important. Thank you Ilda for sharing this! There are a few foam board storage ideas out there and yours is by far, the best!

Hi. I loved your video. I watched others' and yours is the easiest to assemble that I have seen. I'm not storing markers but paper that I cut for my day planner. But the principle is the same no matter what you store. Thank you for recording. I'll also check your blog.

Im even later to the party, but, Im so going to make this. I tried making one, but of course, I was doing it the hard way. Hopefully, this one will turn out, as I have way too many markers.

Do you think this shelf would have benefitted from any “scoring” for lack of better word. As in using the blade to cut slits into every section of the back, sides, top and bottom sections for the “divider” to slide into and be glued. Thats how I’m picturing this in my mind, but I’m sure it would make this a 3 hour project. Maybe that would actually weaken it? What do I know!? I don’t have a space for this to slip inside and stay protected from bumps, so I’m thinking of ways to make it more sturdy. Plan to make this weekend

Hi Bill, I'm sure E6000 work work just as well. I used the hot glue because I wanted something that would work super quick. Have fun with your creation :)

You can use pretty much any foam core boards you find or have.
