What I love about the build up to Starro is how unexpected it is for the team. They didnt even know or were expected to fight it. And over half of their group has been killed by this point. So its all mismatched supervillains left to face it.

I wonder how many people outside of DC fans got the fact Starro is not a character made up for this movie specifically but had a previous existence in the comics and other DC property? It sounds so ridiculous on paper as a concept... I only learnt about Starro in the past few years because of playing DC Universe Online... a DC MMO.
