The year 2021 marks the 100 years anniversary of Knud Rasmussen’s Fifth Thule Expedition, which is the most magnificent and ambitious Thule expedition. It was a three years dog sledding expedition across Arctic Canada and Alaska to Eastern Siberia.
Meet Regine Kristiansen, the daughter of Qaavigarsuaq. Regine is 82 years of age, lives in Qaanaaq, and is the last surviving child of Qaavigarsuaq. In this interview she explains her dad’s role in the expedition, the reason Knud Rasmussen chose him and she shares some of her dad’s favorite memories from the expedition.

@@astraluna6is9 Yes, youtube has this setting by browsing. It turnes out when waching video by phones, it adaptes to your phone setting. If it was an different language, it adapts and adjust by your phone language. When getting into settings by phone, there is a part where it says: "To keep captions on by default, adjust captions visibility in your device setting." on yout phone. I hope this helps.
