Actually I think it's normal to cry over photos that are just one year old. Especially if you and the person haven't spent a lot of time together. And a lot of things can happen in one year. You can grow up and mature a lot.

You might be surprised regarding dog preferences. I've seen dogs that will dig through a basket of dog toys for a good half minute, looking for one specific toy. Then there are others that will act like they don't want any toys, until that is another dog shows an interest in a certain toy and suddenly that toy is the most important toy in the world. One of my dogs for years even had a particular preference for stuffed toy monkeys.

roughly 3 years have gone by in the show. we've had 3 hearth's warming episodes. and hearth's warming is once a year.

Mint45 Doesn't mean we see every Hearths Warming. I guess you can say at least three years, but it still isn't clear how years work. They measure long periods of time by "moons" which can mean many things, the moon is also controlled manually. Every Hearths Warming we see is also during Winter which is decided by Cloudsdale apparently. It's all intentionally complicated I'm sure so we don't pin down an exact time frame; that'd be bad for writing new stories.

Keep in mind, during "Hearths Breakers" it was late Hearths Warming Eve, early Hearths Warming day, and the episode focus is Pinkie and AJ. During "A Hearths Warming Tail," it's implied to start earlier in the day than "Hearths Breakers" (as shown by ponies actually setting up their decor, while in HB, everything was already done) and the episode focus is Twilight, Spike, and Starlight. It is entirely possible that the two episodes happen concurrently from two different viewpoints, similar to Just for Sidekicks and Games Ponies Play, but without the intertwining plot points. It'd be better to say that we have experienced at least two years, maybe three. Keep in mind that we only have two Nightmare Night, Grand Galloping Gala, and Summer Sun Celebration episodes each, and only one episode each for other supposed annual events.

I get really annoyed when people yell "worst thing ever" at a plot that you can either see the end of from a mile away, or that has a lackluster end. Because they tend to forget that the story isn't entirely about the audience, it's about the characters. We as the audience may know what's going on, but the characters don't. If they did, we wouldn't have a story. That's the point. They're learning. Besides, just because some of us see it, doesn't mean everyone sees it.

I thought it was weird that the first 5 seasons all covered 1 year yet in season 6 we got another heartswarming eve when we just got the second one a season before, well just chalk it upto the writing staff changing and timeline not really being that important.

It was the first three seasons that covered a year (based on Celestia's remark to Twilight that this was the first time she was able to enjoy the Summer Sun Celebration). That still means we got a Hearthswarming episode in season five and another in season six, but we already knew the episodes aren't shown in chronological order thanks to Winter Wrap Up in season one.

@1:35 Here's the thing... CMC got their Cutie Marks WAY, WAY back in Season 4, and this is Season 7. We know from this that several months have passed by. SEVERAL months, so When you haven't seen someone in several months... they change. Considering how MLP:FiM has done with their time, considering after SEVEN seasons, we're like barely two years, if that, since the Nightmare Moon thing.

Interesting Episode Idea!!!⬇⬇⬇⬇ Discord was acting so strange that even the Mane 6 would notice this so when Discord refuses them to tell his problem the mane six start to spy on Discord until they found out later that Discord has a sister and that he didn't told anyone because he was afraid of her because he thought that she was mad at him for you know the whole rulling all over the Equestria thing and of course because Discord knows the girls he was afraid that they would actually be in danger if they tried to reunite them
