@@johndyer8381 the same colour as my yorkie. When we got her she was mostly black and very quickly started to change colour, especially head and legs golden with the body grey and a black tail. She is very clever. This video, the yorkie seems miniature. Mine is bigger, she likes food, so makes it easy to train her. However fetch is difgicult for her. She will fetch sometimes, not for treats, when playing.

I have had my Yorkie,Diamond for 7 yrs.she turned 7 on Saturday.she is a cutie,that's what people tell me all the time!.I have had Yorkies for 10-15yrs.so i know all the ends and outs of training them. you are doing very well !I see. but they are stubborn,and picky. So stay consistent and alot of patience. She give unconditional love every day.

Yorkies are amazing. I have a 100 lbs GSD and a 7 lbs Yorkie and they get along in perhaps the cutest ways possible. The funniest thing is when they play. I love big and little dogs equally.

My neighbour has a yorkie which i get to look after during the week. She is 3-4 months and such a smart dog. Already knows that outside is for pooing etc. Shes gonna be a good doggo.

Oh my gosh, you're amazing training, please come and train mine. LOL . Only had him a week, 5 months old, I'm just sitting with my mouth dropped at how much Evie knows. I don't even know how you trained her and have little kids too. Seriously maybe you should start up a puppy training business. We had one where we live that kept our dog for 3wks and trained them with hand signals , and basic commands for about $600 and when you went to pick them up they let you do all what they taught them, without the dog trainer in the room for dog to see. So you knew they was trained before taking your pet home. But with what you trained Evie today is way more then basic stuff. Bless you guy's. Awesome...

Your yorkie is very cute. It is lovely as she scamper away doung your commands. At 5 months, you have trained her well. My yorkie is 8 months and is a bigger. The breeder has told me, her siblings are small. Mine was bigger of the lot and more foodie and intelligent than her siblings, the breeder said. She picked up the training very quickly and is always on the move and wish to play tug or chew her toys and ropes.

Yorkies are super clever! My Yorkie is almost and has gone completely blind, but he can still do sits and spins and highfive, the two latter of which require a lot of coordination because he as to spin 360 degrees exactly and hit my hand

Awesome I know that this is a challenge...I also have a Dolce 8 years old...and inside great..outside she gets distracted a bit...but I'm still everyday working with her. I started with her carry right away because I travel..and she has a soft side bag that she will get into while I am out all the time...it just goes one shoulder and she has head out...most time people think I'm carry a stuffed animal..and this gives her comfort/safe zone...anyway I wish everyone would view your training because people always want one when see mine..and again I always say there is training involved with this..don't come this way..she is also a service dog for me,,.we travel to many of the shriners hospitals for children and has a job I guess you could say...great job I applaud you )

Excellent advice & tips! I had 2 Yorkies, Heidi & Jason. Smart little boogers! They were a few years dif in age, yet would do their fun tricks together, side by side. Crate is definitely a must when your not home to keep them SAFE - not chewing on elect cords & stuff! I have 2 poms now & they love their crates. It’s a safe & clean place for them even with door open. *** mention- Never use a crate for bad behavior consequences- should not be used for punishment! You’re doing a great job & she is very smart!!! 👏🏼 Very good video!!! 👏🏼👍🏼🙌🏼

I just got a girl Yorker. I have 4 now. Two males, two females. The other dogs are small breed, Bichon, skipperekey and blu healer jack russel cross. The boys. Have their own area while the girls are in the living room. I have a wood stove and it gets pretty chilly first thing in the morning until I get the stove fired up. The boys are both 11 years, the Bichon a rescue I found in dire need of lots of vet care, including two dentals... medication for infected head from all the bad teeth. But yeah, a Yorker puppy. She is 11 weeks. She’s using the papers. She’s not trained beyond that. I love her, that’s important. She has an array of toys mostly hand me downs from the other pets. Looking forward to training her.

I am impressed by how you got her to do so much because Yorkies are so hard to train. My Zu Zu is so untrainable, lol....She was abused before she came to us. She is about 6 years old and just her love and sweetness is enough. I have tried to train her to sit and lay down and shake paws and she won' t do it. And yes she is a very stubborn dog and gets her way with us. We are such pushovers but I am big boss and put my foot down to her where as my boyfriend lets her do what she wants. She gets mixed signals, so we just let it be, but if she gets in trouble I am the one who reprimands her. I love my Yorkie so much.

I completely understand it maybe more difficult to train a dog from a shelter because they have been through so much. Zuzu will slowly get it. :-) Just take your time with her and once she fully trusts you and gets to know you? She will do what you want her to do. Good luck!
