Extremely good video. It is unusual that hikers actually focus in their videos, on all the nature, and scenery details. Too often they just want to take a few shots, and then walk fast, to the next place. Well done for not doing that! It takes a lot of effort, also when you get home, to do all the sorting and editing. I am very familiar with this area and Greenland in general.

Hey, Great video :) how cold was it camping llulisat? Also what power banks and solar panel did you use when you were hiking for this trip?
@clemens.fiedler
@clemens.fiedler 4 ай бұрын
Thank you :) It was between 4 and -6 degree... I used 2x 20.000 mA Anker power banks and an "Anker Powerport Solar Panel 21W"

@@clemens.fiedler Thanks for the info, that helps a lot. How did you do powermanagement fotr al that stuff? A huge powerbank is a burden to drag around all day isnt it? Next, i do not seem to be able to find any information on the few huts you stayed in. Any link that you want to share? PS : I've booked with a group of 5 early June for Ilulissat. We are much older then you are, so we will not be so adventureus anymore, but trust me, if we could we would go your way... too old though :) Maybe there is a way to have a boat drop us in the vicinity of the Glacier so that we could camp in that area for one or two nights.

@@blackpowderenthusiast5734 On my trip I had 2 smaller Powerbanks. In addition, I took a foldable ultralight solar panel, so that I had the opportunity to recharge my powerbanks. That was the only way to have enough electric power, without carrying heavy powerbanks. The only problem you could have, if there is no sun at all :) I stayed only 2 nights in both of these huts. With an special map of Ilulissat, I was able to find them. Both huts were accessible without a key. The card was very helpful, also because there are a lot of additional terrain Informations. The idea with the boat is very good :) Here is the Link for the Map of Ilulissat, which I bought: geobuchhandlung.eshop.t-online.de/Wanderkarte-12-Ilulissat Hopefully, it helps

Hello! This is just great video. Well shot and very interesting route that you decided to cover. Is it a seal in 25min:37sec? I am planning a hike and cover part of this area. I have a question. Did you camp twice between Ilulissat to the first hut because terrain is so challenging, or you just didn't push and took it slower?

Thanky you very much. It is a seal ;) I camped twice, because I arrived late on the first day and it rained a lot. The tarrain is not that difficult, but takes a little longer in the rain. Have a great hiking trip.

Servus!
