I would recommend 5-10mL decants of a variety because I feel like even 50mL bottles takes a while to finish, and idk about you but when I was a beginner I don't exactly know what I'm looking for and I don't want to shell out $75-100 on each bottle haha. 5-10mL also lasts quite a while allowing me to fully test out scents. I bought 3 bottles when I first started out, and I don't even wear them anymore bc my tastes quickly shifted LOL. The five would recommend exploring would be Any of the Ariana perfumes, Coco Mademoiselle, Hypnotic Poison, Diptyque Philosykos, and one of the Mugler perfumes

I definitely subscribed because of your objective tone and I agree I hear a lot of KZbin-rs say that something is over worn and everywhere they go they smell it but the average person wouldn’t know that and maybe it’s me but I know plenty of people that only wear perfume to dressier occasions lol.

I agree!! Yes, honestly, I guess it depends where you live; if you live in an area where there are alot of people spending money on fragrance and other high end luxury goods, and you spend your time at public places like malls and department stores, you're bound to smell fragrance on people or wafting around in the air, that's just how it is. I don't live near any high end department stores so I almost NEVER smell perfume on someone. Which is great because I honestly believe I have the only Delina Exclusif in my entire town lol. I know I'd have some "competition" if I were to move to a larger center. But yes - in the fragrance world, some perfumes are "overdone" - for most of us, myself included, they're not. :)

I’m so happy you mentioned Mon Guerlain Intense. The vanilla in that fragrance is one of the most sensual vanillas I have ever smelled. It doesn’t get enough hype. It’s such a stunning fragrance. ❤️

No it smells quite different! The pure grace is very much laundry vibes, clean skin is more skin musky:)

Is Oscar de la Renta Bella Rosa similar to Delina?

both rose scents but otherwise not that similar. It's more similar to the delina exclusif but very poor performance and still smells quite different to DE.

Yes it does for me too, coco I find a bit more soapy patchouli almost a bit fresher.

I think it smells much lighter than coco mademoiselle… actually, I do not like Coco mademoiselle. It smells like too many grandmas I’ve known in my life… Actually all of Chanel does except for the Chanel chance line. Coco mademoiselle is too suffocating for me to smell and gives me a headache especially in the summer. Miss Dior is easier to wear in spring and summer for sure

yes they are all 100% authentic - at least half of my current collection has come from them and they have excellent customer service. The way these discount companies area able to offer such amazing offers is by getting rid of the middle man retailer and removing overhead fees. They buy directly and sell directly online - no store costs, employee, brick and mortar costs etc. :)

I thought I would like Girl of Now based on the notes so I blind bought the largest bottle. Big mistake! For me it’s cloying and unpleasant for the first 4 or 5 hours. Even if I only spray once. After that it mellows nicely. I enjoy smelling it on my clothes the next day. Not a safe blind buy.
