New cars have WiFi antennas near the rear view mirror and it would definitely be right on top R1. That also looks like the WiFi break up that Bardwell got when he was first testing HDZ and Walksnail

my Mob7 HDZero did the same thing on Betaflight. My workaround was to have a fan blowing directly on the drone and that kept it cool long enough to do my BF setup.

Interesting. Does the VTX get power from the usb? If so, that would explain it for sure. I have a Vision40 (walksnail) 75mm and luckily it does not power the vtx from usb. But If I have a lipo plugged in, it overheats FAST if sitting still. I have to cool it with a fan if I am working on it or whatever...

​@@ctvxlI don't have that one specifically, but when I plug any of my HDZ drones into Betaflight, I have a fan on them. Even with just the USB, I get video, but I assume that it's in pit mode so it's not much power, but it's still enough power to get overheated without a fan. Just not instantly.

@@ctvxlyeah, those HDZ whoop boards generally get power from the 5v BEC on the FC but i usually don't have a problem if i plug in a battery and then take off soon. bench work takes a bit longer, thus the fan.

Good to see you man! Side note: plug a lipo into that whoop then plug in your usb to Betaflight and it won’t disconnect from Betaflight anymore. They should have that fixed on the production version.
