Watching this again, July 2019. Oh darling, sweet, brave Em…… so happy that you managed to live your life to the fullest. 2 months after this vid she was dead, but at least she didn't get sick on the outside if that makes sense, like having seizures or extreme nausea etc as she then would have felt weak and have to be in hospital for her final few weeks.... I know at one point her doctor and the nurses said she was a miracle.... they knew she was coming to the end, they must have. They saw her scans, they knew things were really bad and they couldn't believe she was still so full of vitality and sheer Life Force. I imagine if Emily had gone into remission and lived for many years..... I think she would have been a motivational speaker, going to talk to people fighting this godawful disease perhaps. We will never know. I'll always love and miss you darling, I hope you're in a happy place. Peace xxx

I’m a 7 year Melanoma survivor. Mine started as yours did, a mole. Then a year later it spread to my right lung. I had the upper right lobe of my lung removed then it spread to my pancreas, gallbladder and all throughout my stomach. I went on interferon but it was too toxic. I then got into a clinical trial in 2012, Zelboraf and Cotellic. It is now FDA approved treatment. It has killed all of my cancer tumors and kept them at bay for going on 8 years. I am BRAF positive, that’s what this treatment has been successful in treating. I know your docs have probably researched all of this but i wanted to share it with you, any treatment is worth a try. I watch your vlog daily and pray for you. Your love for life is inspiring. I get it. Until you’re faced with this beast, you can’t truly appreciate life and understand what’s really important. My mantra is live and recognize every moment as precious! Every tiny moment, even the ones that seem so small, every moment is a gift. God bless you!

I am watching from Canada, after coming across your channel about a month ago. It is your bright energy and absolutely contagious optimism that keeps me watching. As a nurse for 44 years working mostly in critical care from the aged to premies, I’ve seen so much and I am grateful to have been a part of it all. The rewards have been huge, but so have been the heartaches. I have experienced the entire spectrum of how people cope with whatever their journey of illness or trauma happened to be, severe, minimal, life-altering, terminal. There were very few over those 44 years who could hold a candle to you. I recognize that everyone’s journeys and their needs on those journeys are vastly different, and I respect each and every person’s response, but you are that rare treasure who can see and celebrate those evasive nuggets of pleasure despite your pain and fears. We are so fortunate to be able to share them with you. I know you have your moments, but know that we’d share them with you and comfort you in whatever small way we could. However, I don’t think that is what this video diary’s focus is all about. Your selflessness is remarkable, and your strength amazing. You are that rare gem who can see way beyond yourself, a very rare attribute indeed. God bless you and Aisha.

Having seen and nursed my father in law who had pancreatic cancer you are doing bloody fantastic. I think well I know because you feed your body right and continue with exercise it has made you stronger and able to fight the cancer. A friend of mines hubby was diagnosed with a mass on his brain a brain tumor. He died with in 4 weeks of knowing. You are doing so well and with your wifes help you will continue to do so. I am suffering a few health issues and don’t know how serious they are because I’ve yet to have a diagnosis, but Emily’s videos have made me realize through these rough months of being sick and depressed that nothing is certain but you have to live life for you, enjoy what you can. If she can be such a wonderfully positive in her position then why can’t I? Thank you Emily and Aisha for giving me a new perspective. I hope you overcome the prognosis and beat the odds ❤️

Why do we watch? How could we not? :) I can’t wait for each video to come out and I watch you darlings because you inspire me massively in so many ways. You inspire me as a severely obese 51-year-old woman that I have no excuse not to work out every day. You inspire me as the mother of a 28-year-old woman who has recently been diagnosed with a rare brain cancer to face it with tenacity and humor and to help her do the same. Aisha's motto of being the same person after receiving bad news that you were before the bad news is so key. You inspire me not to hide under the covers and have a pity party, but to live life fully. I’ve heard the words many times but you bring those words to life. I meditate on your healing daily as I do for my own daughter and other friends fighting the cancer coward. Love you ladies!!!!

Emily you are so amazing, I have leukemia and although it's one of the rare types it has its advantages in that it can be specifically targeted, they are able to design a drug which will prolonged my life, albeit the side effects, which are totally worth it. The reason I'm telling you this is I so wish they could find a drug for your cancer that does the same thing as there is no one I know that loves life as much as you, I am not going through a fraction of what your going through and you put me to shame, you are changing my whole thinking process, I am more aware of my family and friends feelings, not to moan so much about my condition, they already worry. After watching your latest vlog, it made me happy and sad, you've got such love and support from so many good people, from I started watching this I think about you everyday, you are truly my inspiration x
