It’s a lot like how conservatives will say there hasn’t been a funny episode of SNL since (insert whatever year before Trump was elected here). You can say overall it’s not as good, but to say *nothing* was funny. That’s just tribalism and bigotry controlling you.

I am totally in love with Mae Martin, and think they are wonderful, but their fantastic sit com Feel Good is what made me realise I had (pretty severe) PTSD and that was not an easy journey. I still haven't seen the last half of the second season.

I am always grateful for catalysts that raise issues for me to work through, to set myself free. Sometimes it takes me a while to get to that place of appreciation! 😆 Especially with PTSD triggers! But the liberation is absolutely worth ALL the effort, pain and hell. I reclaimed my life in hard won increments, over years. ( I had CPTSD and several additional forms of PTSD in adulthood.) Now the battle is won and I just hit a few obstacles, to vapourise with logic, every now again. The freedom and peace is worth it. 😊 All power to you for your courage in self-honesty and addressing your PTSD! Here's a Purple Heart in acknowledgement of your courage! 💜

I second the recommendations of the "Handsome" podcast. Its one of my favorite recent finds. I knew of Tig, of course (see her legendary "Hello, I have cancer" standup set) and I've always enjoyed Fortune in her late night appearances, but I was unfamiliar with Mae (who uses "they/them" pronouns). It's a great listen; funny, non-political, lightweight conversational comedy with plenty of subtextual biographic insight into its three stars.
