Tips: if you scan the outcrops (limestone, sandstone, and shale) it'll tell you what materials you can get out of them. PLEASE use your scanner more! This game doesn't do any handholding in telling you what to do/how to unlock stuff besides the stuff they tell you in PDA entries after scanning things. Also now that you have a laser cutter you can go inside the big wrecks; most of them are in the red grass areas. Good job working your way up to exploring farther out! However, that seamoth can't save you all the time, you're gonna have to get out and explore so you can scan stuff 😂

Tip: one of the safest ways to get to the Aurora's entrance without running into the reaper is to start from your lifepod and go directly to the front area while having your head above water.

Because, and say it with me now, "We👏🏿 Don't 👏🏿Belong👏🏿In👏🏿The👏🏿Ocean👏🏿!". I love the ocean, I love swimming, but NOTHING born for the water, mostly I mean the deep water, looks natural. The same could be said about the deep earth (caves and such) but oceans have caves too, that's double the insanity imo. Nah, we should research and investigate the ocean, but I'll never be actually "comfortable" with the ocean until we know wth is going on in there.

By the way to change the battery(different from the one used on the seaglide) of the seamoth you gotta go below the back part of the ship and click on the cylinder like shape. Also the cyclops parts are scatter all over the map you need to scan 4 of the different fragment parts(hull,engine,bridge, and the cyclops itself) 3 times. The brian coral gives air if you sit above it. Hope this helps :)

Definitely dont hesitate to put up little base stations on either side of that bouy wherever you go explore so the distance you got to go to safety isnt ever far. Like at that shallow outcrop by the ship would have been a nice spot instead having to swim all the way back.
