Girl! I can’t understand how he thought this was not going to offend his hip hop fans? What was the point of this announcement? Lol. I think it was more like “I made a rap song, but don’t mistreat me in any other way ways you do other rappers. But you can give me the perks you give other rappers!” Lol!

Hip hop is consistently used by guests as a kickstarter whose true destination is in pop. We have to stop giving them money, attention, and overall support only to be used as a launchpad.

I want to know your thoughts on Aks' live reaction to Kendrick's interview with SZA. He made jokes about the track "Mother I Sober" and seemed to find humor in the topic of sexual assault, claiming it was funny to joke about because it didn't happen to Kendrick. His chat responded with, "Okay, he's joking," as if that made it better. It's concerning that he feels comfortable enough on the Internet to joke about such serious subjects..

Miley used hip hop to change the “child star” narrative to add some edge to her because everyone was looking at her as Hannah Montana during that time.
@bribro23
@bribro23 2 күн бұрын
But she never claimed to be part of the culture, she didn’t change her music frfr. She was & still is a singer. She used a fake aesthetic because if she didn’t they would have never let her blossom into the grown women image she has now. I do think a lot of ppl do fall into hip hop as it’s the opposite of what she did
@taco_2unesday
@taco_2unesday Күн бұрын
@@bribro23so you disagreed with me to say exactly what I said but in different words..she didn’t outright say she was hip hop but everything she did was suggestive of the sentiment even down to the fake relationship with Mike Will her look and even her music features was hip hop adjacent. She needed hip hop to break the stigma of the wholesome Disney star, once you go hip hop you lose your innocence if you’re Miley.

After post Malone was questioned about him being a country singer to his success in hip hop with white iverson and his collaboration with the migos he said that he switch to hip hop was because he was let go from the country music and told he couldn’t make it as a country artist so he chose to sing and rap to hip hop music to get back at those in country music that said he couldn’t make it.
