I was taken a good 25 years ago by CPS when my dad, who was only unstable from his meds being messed with, was taken to jail but then soon released and sent to a veteran’s hospital where he was eventually found, and I was returned. That scene with the mum and son is uncomfortable to the max. I don't know when that video was filmed, but my eldest seems not that younger than the boy now. If I wanted him to join in the family time, I would have just said it and gave him his time limit so he knows when to log off his game. If I were to check something around his seating area, I would have told him to get up from the chair as it would make searching the area easier. Plus, who "searches" with up and down motions? I will always give my kids kisses but as they get older, I'll stop with the lip kissing. Her going in for kisses looks kinda creepy.

That you do with your husband, not with your kid! First, because it is confusing for a kid, then he can normalize that and be even more vulnerable of being abused without knowing by another adult.
