I think.... Bcoz it is about 3 phase motor the phase A, B, C took 120 degree apart.... And the sloght a and á are connecting north and south pole of an imaginary magnet, and the poles of a magnet are 180 degree apart (both sloght a and á belongs to same phase A)

Let me help you. Just assume a machine having one N-pole and one S-pole only. So, they will be placed 180degree apart from each other, so that the maximum flux could be utilized. This is known as full pitch. Here also the same thing happens (theoretically). But in practical cases they are placed slightly less than 180degree. This configuration is known as short pitch.

cause he is considering that there are only 2 poles. for 4 poles it would be 90 degress
