Brother, you are a massive inspiration for me. After years of not doing anything, your videos gave me the insight the tools and the drive to get back in the game. You have no idea how many people around the world you have touched. Please, please, please keep making your KZbin videos. Because maybe there is another guy like me somewhere in the world, who needs that guiding hand that you provided to me. Who needs a master piece every video, or post? No. Just draw. Just do it. And let us watch you do what you do best, get inspired and do our best. I don’t care what you draw, as long as you just do your passion and never give up. We artists gotta stick together, and persistence will pay off. Believe me. God bless you Inshallah. And thank you. ❤

It s always a pleasure to see your composition process Imad! I use a similar technique, with big strokes to get the basic shape and values, then use distort, skew and perspective in a different layer, benefit of the digital medium. Beautiful Illustrations!

I think the most interesting part about those paintings are the skies. Do you have a tablet which recongnizes pen tilt? The top view and then reshape tip is pretty good.
@ImadAwan8 күн бұрын
Thank you! And yes I think it does recognise tilt.

4:49 would be more realistic if this phase includes more big and linear roads (like 1 main 2 secondary) so it doesn’t always feels like a crowded block
@ImadAwan8 күн бұрын
Sure, but the blocks that we’re painting in 2d represent the rooftop. The roads are not at the same height so I didn’t draw them in flat 2d. However, if you’d like it to not look too crowded, draw distant boxes in flat, and then once you have it in perspective, add the roads.
@riccardocurrao76198 күн бұрын
@ as usual in this craft there are more ways to achieve different goals, one could even draw over real city maps and then rebuild his own Istanbul, or Paris or whatever. Anyway nice shortcuts! I’ll use some for the next cities, thx

It looks like AI art in some way. I played one day with it, creating city landscapes. It looked really realistic. When I zoomed in though, it was a jumble of random shapes, creating scyscrapers and streets. So, similar idea then.
@Solllaz2 күн бұрын
Not AI art. This technique is very old, it’s what art is; tiny pieces making bigger ones.

In production works usually you need to previsualize your scenes fast so that the team can work on concepts. Painting tecniques like this are very good and usefull
