It gets reallllllllllllly interesting once you're married / in a serious relationship. People always joke about the whole "No, what do you want for dinner?" "No, what do YOU want for dinner?" infinite games of couples. For me, it's "What does she MEAN by 'No, what do YOU want for dinner?' I think I'm probably supposed to know the right thing to pick for dinner that would be pleasing to her. But what if she actually wants to know what I want for dinner? What if she really doesn't know what she wants for dinner? The only thing I know is, I do not know what I want for dinner. Or do I? I then go on to list every type of food I can think of. Come to think of it...I do go through this exact process even when my wife isn't around for dinner. Maybe I shouldn't have written this reply. Whatever. Doesn't matter.

I do that all of the time! Like I'll be eating some Mac and Cheese and be imagining the two people inventing this stuff being named Mac and Cheese and then I think that's weird that somebody named the cheese after themselves, but then I remember that cheese was probably invented before Mac and Cheese and that Mac isn't a name, but rather short for Macaroni, but then I think, "what if Macaroni was a name? I mean, Yankee Doodle stuck a feather in his hat and called it macaroni." Then I think, what God-awful parents name their kid Yankee Doodle? Is that a first name, or a first and middle name, or first and last name? I think the last choice is most reasonable... unless it was a nickname. And then I'm thinking what activity must you do to be called Yankee Doodle? Would you have to draw on something that you're yanking? How frequently would you have to partake in that activity in order to get a nickname like that? I'd imagine not too many times, as that's a strange activity. And then somebody around me asks, "what?" and then I realize that I was laughing a bit too myself, so I say, "The Mac and Cheese taste's funny." and then they look puzzled and ask me why I'm still eating it. Just another day in the life of an INTP.
