Before both feature and smartphones came with removable battery and if there were any battery issues one can easily buy a battery from a brick and mortar store. Then companies started making phones with non removable battery and they came at a premium price. Later even the entry level and mid range phones came with that sort of design. Now what's going to happen is that all the companies will start giving removable battery feature to their premium phones. It's like a cycle you know. I believe same sort of thing is going with the Bezels. When they will run out of room for increasing the screen size or when the whole phone will turn into a screen. Some company will introduce a phone with Bezels and will call it a new thing.

But imagine one day, their parts can be upgraded without costing so much, and likewise with the smartphones, but until then, we can only dream.

Well apple is not the same as android, most android companies don’t need to pay for os systems or security. Apple will never do replaceable batteries because they need people buying new phones because it’s easier for them to update os and easier to fund. And security is also a big part which is expensive. I mean apple didn’t even give the fbi text messages of a serial killer when asked just shows how protective they really are to keep your privacy especially when fbi has a 99% win chance in court so they got balls to stand up
