Despite how much money he lost out on I think Matt probably doesn’t regret it that much cus had he done it there would of been a ton of projects he never would’ve been able to do since he would’ve been stuck doing all these avatar sequels they have been working on. So I think in the end yea it was a lot of money but it also would’ve been like a 15 year commitment where he’d have to make 5 movies all tied to this one franchise and that’s the reason a lot of stars don’t get involved with stuff like this. For example marvel has offered stuff to various actors who turned it down just because they knew they’d have to commit a decade of their lives to doing almost exclusively just that.
