India seems to think that it is a saint. Both Jinnah and Nehru has personal ambitions and they went after these goals. The people of both countries have suffered for this since 1947. The people of these two nations lived together for centuries, and of course, there were issues, but people still lived in relative peace. The leaders of both nations are corrupt and have kept the hatred alive on both sides (The BJP, Islamic fundamentalists). The leaders of both sides adopted perfectly the divide and conquer philosophy of their English masters. And I am not excusing Pakistan for its own issues and the problems it has not dealt with, but India is no "democracy." The rule of one dynastic family or an ideology is no democracy.

If we really want to know what is the real interpretation of Quran,look at the life of Mohammad. May be verses have been interpreted wrong according to different cultures but Mohammad life and his way of dealing with idolators,polytheist or non believers tells us about real Islam and it is very very dangerous and violent. Muslims are motivated more by Mohammad's life than Quran's verses because existence of Islam and Allah is because of Mohammad,in Muslim eyes Mohammad was the best man ever came on earth.
