I will say, too: I’d love to see a video from Husbento on some hair tutorials, like how to do braids or style your haircut at home. It would just be super cool to see some examples of his work, if he wants to share it-he’s clearly very passionate about it! Even an Instagram would be really cool to see 😃

Your daughter's awed admiration of the Christmas tree (24:55). Getting a tour of your husband's new salon (27:08). It's always wonderful and relaxing to watch you cook, but what makes your channel special is seeing how much your family loves each other.

For the avocado croquettes you could try putting a slice of avocade on top of the croquette (like nigiri) and then bread it. I've seen fried avocado slices with panko. Probably has better stability than mashed :)

Alternatively you can put the crochet filling in the freezer for 10-20 mins to stiffen the mixture enough to be easy to form. You just have to move fast! I do that at my job for a Louisiana style blue crab farro arinichini! Really good food as always and congrats on your new hair salon!

Yes, deep fried avocado is yummy. But I think the would also keep their shapes better if some starch or panko was added into the mixture. That's at least what I do when I make patties. But whatever, it's not too important. My belief is, when it comes to meals, as long as it's edible it has turned out well.

Little infos on the french toast (which we call pain perdu, literally lost bread) we usually use dry baguettes, if we haven't eaten the whole baguette during the day then on the morning after it will have gotten hard and so as to not lose it we would put eggs, milk and vanilla extract in a batter have the bread soften in that, then cook it in a pan with some butter (salted butter if you're extra :) ) and serve it super hot with the sugar slowly melting on top of it ! I have my most happy winter breakfast memories with french toast and orange juice, I'm so happy to see you cook it here ! Oh and for the tips of the baguette my mother would chop it put it in a separate box and use it as croutons or blend it to make breadcrumbs.

Imamu, you have no idea how many of us have been inspired by you. These husbentos & now, musubentos, really encourage many of us to think outside of bread. This has gotten me back to doing some cooking I can do with my arthritis, and honestly, I’m eating so much better. The bento boxes make me feel special even though I work from home. Thankyou! I have vivid memories from my childhood of Christmas, specifically a small tree sitting on top of a display cabinet in the front room, decked out in brightly coloured ornaments and lit with what we used to call 'fairy lights'. The tree was the only source of light in the room at night, and I can recall a sense of wonder and delight looking at it. I'm 54 now, and so much has changed. Mum who was the one who really celebrated Christmas, now lives in a care home and whilst we still mark the day, such things as decorations are now confined to a few Christmas cards that get put up, if we remember to do it. All the sparkle has gone... or so I thought. When I saw your tree light up, I was instantly taken back to my childhood, and that tiny tree glimmering in the corner of the room and lighting it up. I felt the old sense of wonder and sheer delight once more. So, once again, thank you, for giving me a small taste of an almost forgotten past! 😊
