Off the court never had a problem with Melo. & couldn't call him a bad teammate. Melo did Melo on average teams & similar to Westbrook on OKC, he just didn't make teammates better

Kobe did too, he said he was the hardest to Guard & T-mac was also the hardest to Guard
@TedlaEKHAN

@@ky5059 Definitely. A few other elite players like Paul Pierce did as well. I was more referring to the off-the-court and locker room side of things, particularly the latter. The media was selling the narrative that he lacked leadership/was a locker room cancer simply bc he was a ball dominant player.

Melo didn’t get the luxury of having 2-3 all stars beside him and never deflected the blame. He did his best with what he had and always made his teammates better. Just like Barkley or Malone, he was a legendary player that never had the right situation. I don’t know why they make him out to be a bad guy when anyone with personal interactions with him would take a bullet for that man.

His biggest down fall is he wasn't lebron and not signing freeagency wth the bulls. Lol well who the hell is. I really don’t understand your logic at all.. the NBA wants team players, for a long period of time Carmelo was not a team player, that’s why no team picked him up.. it has nothing to do with his Mentality & persona.. he 35 years old.. teams are saving money for future players.. so I really don’t get your point.. even if you’re a fan of Melo, stop praising like he never came off as arrogant or selfish...

Bruh, I'm a big fan, but you gotta lose those Grills. 😂 That's a great look for the 'hood' but not the NBA. You've got a very small window to get back into the league, so be careful you end up like Sprewell.

People don’t know the reason melo didn’t win a championship because he never wanted to be that big star that everybody portrayed him to be so the nba blackballed him 💯 facts
@NACentDSTM
@NACentDSTM 4 жыл бұрын
Opious Robinson nah the real reason is because the coaches never let him play his best style they played him like a big man who can shoot but he should have been played like a tall 2 guard like in the ncaa finals and they should have let him bring the ball down once in a while like KD cuz he has great handles like a guard and a quick first step and is actually a great passer he just didn’t do it a lot but whenever he does bring it down he gets like 6,7 assists cuz he can actually see the whole floor but they stuck him in the post especially in ny and only let him bring the ball down when they needed a clutch shot granted he eats in the post but he would have been better playing at the top of the key like a guard

No it's because he basically passed of his coaches and did not adjust his style to the modern game he still played like in college now in Portland he's in a good system.
