In this clip, Iman Shumpert shared his thoughts on people saying that Luka Doncic could be the next LeBron James. Iman questioned why Luka couldn't be the first Luka, and he went on to dissect why the two NBA stars are different in terms of their stature and athleticism. Iman also stated that LeBron and Jordan in their third years were much different than Luka, which you can hear more about above.

Hell everyone with half a brain know it’s a team sport! The other Heat Players u want me to list how much better they were, not to mention the Big Three! I completely understand winning a championship for your home team especially with a franchise like the cavs is a big accomplishment. He arguably won the biggest championship in history by bringing a chip home.

They didn't get pieces until he left because they knew they needed too since he wasn't there to carry them anymore. If he stayed. He’s a great scorer like a prime Harden, but not an all around beast like Lebron.

Lebron at 37 is most players at 27, prime wise. Lebron from say age 20-32 was just an otherworldly athlete. He’s still incredible now but prime Lebron was something else. Easily the most athletically gifted player the leagues ever seen.

I agree with everything Iman said expect for marketability. Lebron has a lifetime Nike deal. Lebron is looking to own a team after. Lebron is often compared to MJ who is renowned as the GOAT. LeBron is a once in probably two generations talent. That size with that much athleticism and that IQ. Every now and then you get a genetic freak like Shaq, LeBron, Zion, but to put it altogether with sustained greatness...it will be a long time if ever before you see another LeBron. Jordan is the greatest I've seen, but you'd probably see another Jordan before you see another LeBron.

I like what he said about marketability. Because the nba will always have a star even if they are average. they can still make them bigger by helping the player to get ref callls like all great players do because those players are nba cash cars, who people come to see, but that only works against casual fans who are the majority.

They had a plan to use him up for their benefit just to get him out to make tatum and brown the focal point of the team and more defensive overall as a team. Not a bad move but just dont like how the front office did thomas. That was super dirty. Dude lost his sister and all during the playoffs i remember. Then he was on cavs and got bounced around. Cleveland was a laughing stock while Lebron was here because we always “weren’t good enough” or couldn’t build around him, even after his return. It took for us to go through this rebuild to be seen as respectable, we drafted good young talent and our core is seen as one of the potential brightest in the future. The only thing that has to do with Lebron is him leaving. We won a championship and that’s a great ceiling but Lebron didn’t turn us into a respectable franchise. If anything it’s like Turning The Browns into the Eagles.

All facts!! Especially that last part Iman said “LeBron has not had any major injuries that has set him back”. LeBron since young was a running Terminator/Juggernaut with athleticism and literally had no injuries until being on the Lakers as of late but that’s just father time catching up to him which is normal. Otherwise I don’t count that Miami Heat moment of him getting cramps/charlie horses because those are minor and can happen anytime on how your body is being trained. But otherwise Luka will never be the next LBJ.
