No job in this country will give you a greater return than truck driving it’s one month of school and afterwards within six months to a year you can have $100,000 plus as job for myself it only took me six months of experience to Land $130,000 job hauling lime locally and at nine months experience I got a job hauling diesel for 150+ and over the last eight months I have saved $81,000. If everything goes correctly by the end of 2026, I will be able to retire from trucking completely with only 3yrs experience.

This is why I do home daily food service right now. With a toddler and another one on the way, I promised my wife I wouldn't do OTR before I got my CDL. Works for some guys I'm sure but not for me.

People don’t like to take accountability for why their marriage failed so they blame trucking when they should of got off that road when their wife asked them. OTR is for single people or couples that do trucking.

Disagree. If she married him while he was otr then that's what it is. You can have problems local or otr. Yes being local is easier but maybe the money was the same. Lots of variables

@@biggame2175 trust me women are selfish they think of them 1st. It is less money so you have to get really creative with saving money. Fuel hauling pays decent for local. No a man's job is to figure out how to work smarter for the same amount of money. It ain't your job to get health problems and extreme depression otr for too long. I been trucking almost 8 years. I didn't start having these health problems fill the past 2 to 3 years. They've gotten progressively worse and I'm in my 30s. I seen men have their legs amputated and still go back over the road. You want to keep a woman? You need to be home and in the gym bro no fkn excuses. No woman is gonna deal with an overweight man who's gone all the time. Trust me I lost my wife No women are not gonna understand and if you think they will your delusional. Women are by nature selfish. They'll hold out awhile then replace you or just cheat

It's not just trucking.It's any job that takes you away from your family somewhat.. You have people in corporation that have to stay gone from their family making big bank Think about some of the rich kids never see them..Star athletes, ceo's ,Big insurance Executives... But I guess if you make Money the woman don't care..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Find a local job bro. Making $50k isn't alot of money. You can make that at home. I did regional and she would beg me to come home. All that money I was so worried about ain't here no more and neither is she

If your sacrificing your family for $55k on the road when you can make the same or a little less that's nonsense. You're not in the right mindset. That is middle class salary. You can make that at home locally. I did it and it wasn't worth it. My wife got used to me being gone then she started talking to her baby daddy at times. That same money I was all Gung go to get isn't here and neither is my wife
