I have an interview tomorrow @ location in Lithia Springs ga. Really looking forward to working with this company. I'm a recent Graduate from 160 driving academy and this was my first application I filled out. It took them 2mths to call me but hopefully it was worth the wait. I will give them all I have.

Sysco sucks. They had me doing 19 to 25 stops per route, coming out of 3 doors for all but maybe two stops. Then base dip pay on how much you rush. US Foods gives top pay for scan rate instead of rushing now. Best company I've seen out here thus far. Even Sygma is better than Sysco and they're a smaller sister company.

I hope that comment I sent you the other day about dollar drivers wasnt offensive or anything. I was comparing work types but I always tune in your videos. Your relaxing to watch. I didn't meant to be a douchbag but maybe I sounded like one. Unloading for dollar tree is just ridiculous. All work is hard to different levels. I would definitely prefer to do what your doing though.

I’ve personally never experienced any injuries doing this job so I can’t really speak to your situation. It’s also very difficult using proper lifting techniques all day every day doing this job when you’re trying to focus on getting the product off the truck so the risk of sustaining an injury is high. Just be mindful of how you sustained the injury in the first place and try not to make the same mistake. Think about how you’re lifting, twisting, turning, & reaching when grabbing a case. Particularly if it’s heavy. Wear a back brace if needed. Also, start stretching before and after your shift if you’re not doing it already. Thanks for watching.

Wazzam Ant, far as working at Gordon, when you are inside the truck gathering boxes and putting them on the dolly to take inside the location, how to know which boxes are for certain locations ? I’m interested in working for them after I receive my CDL

What up bro..Every case has a label with all of the customer info as well as item description. Cases also have the stop number on the label so every case is loaded in sequence or in order. The information is also in your scanner. If a label is missing then that case will show on your scanner as basically not scanned which lets you know what item to look for. Sometimes the item might be buried or not on the truck at all in which case you would issue a credit to that customer. It’s pretty simple.

@imanthonytv

@@imanthonytv ok so you usually just stop and warm your leftovers up? Running this 2 day route definitely different than a 1 day route I might need a bigger lunch box lol. I try not to spend money eating out at the hotel

Yes..I’m not sure if you work for GFS or not but we get per diem for hotel layovers so the company is technically paying for your meals.

@imanthonytv

@reesiemula Yeah, it’s like $45 per layover so basically $90 a week. I usually bring my own dinner so I rarely spend the money.
