I experienced God a year ago. Im really disabled to the point of almost dying. One night i was scared because of it qnd called out, God im scared! Within minutes i felt like someone laid a blanket of pure peace on me and the fear left. As i drifted off to sleep i felt this explosion of what I can only describe as a liquid living light of love flood my body for 10min. It was amazing

@@catfacecat. I was an atheist. I didn't experience signs. I never felt like I should deal with religion when I couldn't believe so I stayed clear. But in 2019, I had finally broke when I was listening to a song. I prayed and could only say please. I didn't immediately feel any miracle but unprompted, I was asked to go to therapy a couple weeks later and started about a month after I asked. I changed slowly but I could finally do something for myself yet I wasn't relying on God so perhaps it was slower than it could be. It was in 2022 when I felt a blanket of warmth that let me start to let out my sequestered pain. I haven't experienced pure peace yet. There is a hole in my heart that feels infinite at times. And I feel called... I hear a voice that doesn't feel like mine. I see more of where I fall short and how difficult picking up your cross to follow him really is. I'm still learning to be free from the chains that bind me. And last year Lady A brought a song out "What a song can do" that I happened to find when I was talking with a friend about songs and remembered Lady A right after they released it. George Muller believed God could set desires in the hearts of men and he relied on it for his calling. At one point he had no money or food for his orphanage and he chose to pray, and it was only a bit later that there was a knock on the door. The baker couldn't sleep the night before and felt he needed to bake bread for the orphans. A bit later another knock and someone had broken down in front of the orphanage. It was a milk truck and the man asked to give the milk before it would spoil. Every time I think about it, I just can't help but cry. George Muller said he had the grace of faith and not the gift of faith. He did so much for those he could thanks to the grace of God. "Work diligently but not with your own power."

@aixel5018 There's no scientific evidence for tomorrow. We assume tomorrow. Science is the study of what is known. Tomorrow can never be known. Does that mean tomorrow doesn't exist? Wouldn't it be silly of us to say there's no scientific proof for tomorrow therefore I will not believe in it? If science (the known) could prove God (the Unknown) then He wouldn't or couldn't be God. Science cannot prove God. But science does support enough evidence to assume God, just as it supports enough evidence that tomorrow exists even though scientifically speaking, it doesn't.

I assume this video is talking about "Yahweh", the Hebrew god, when it talks about "God." As per The Bible, Yahweh is: 1. Omnipresent (always present) 2. Omniscent (knows everything) 3. Omnipotent (all powerful) If so, then imbeggar's arguments are bad. First, answer these questions: 1. Can God be everywhere, all at once, because he's omnipresent? 2. Does God know everything because he's omniscent? 3. Can God do anything because he is omnipotent? If you answered No to any of these, then The Bible disagrees with you. Now then, if God is all these things, then God having a personal relationship with everyone is easy: 1. God can talk to everyone, all at once. There is no limit to when he can or can't talk to us, and there is no limit in the ways or places or times he can appear before us. This whole "cosmic message" is incredibly short-sighted. God literally appeared to people in The Bible and he can do so with everyone on the Earth. 2. God knows everything about everything, including each and every Human. He knows the best way to communicate with us. God would know the best way to appear before you without scaring you, and the best way to communicate so you'll know he's not a trick. He would also, likely, personalize his method so it is the most effective method of communication to YOU personally, and can do so for each and every person on Earth. 3. He's all powerful, so he possesses the ability to do all of this with whoever, whenever, wherever and however he wants to. Because he's the biggest Chad god around with no flaws (except for the jealousy, genocidal streaks where he's responsible for millions of deaths due to short-sightedness in the Old Testament a perfect god should have been able to avoid, but we don't like talking about any of that). This Apologetics video does not disrupt any of these points whatsoever. As an Agnostic Atheist who doesn't know if there are any god[s] that exist, and shall default to none existing (much like unicorns, big foot, etc, which I also haven't seen), then the Burden of Proof is on the Theist to prove all these things. And after that, I'll need the Theist to prove Angels, Satan, Heaven, Hell, all the Bible Stories are true and that Yahweh has personally apologized for being an inept piece of shit for screwing up humanity so badly (you realize God had the potential to create Adam and Eve so they wouldn't eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and even knew they would, but still let it all happen? And at the same time, detests sin but made humanity extremely vulnerable to it? Messed up so bad he had to drown between thousands and billions because of how bad the Earth situation got? Doesn't seem all too perfect to me).

Not omnipotent- Loses to another god, presumably Kamosh (2 Kings 3)- Twin account found in the Mesha Stele Loses to iron chariots (Judges 1:19) Not omniscient- Obvious scientific, historical, and geographic ignorance The complete absence of a claim of omniscience in the Bible (There are many claims of being ABLE to see all things, but that's not the same- It's like looking at bugs in a terrarium) Not omnipotent- The parable of the weeds, in Matthew 13 (Also maybe displays not-omniscience, since God either can't distinguish between the wheat and the weeds, or he can't uproot one without the other, despite showing the ability to precision-snatch people in Matthew 24, where "one will be taken and one will be left" out of every two people- Although presumably metaphorical) Also he couldn't stop the Devil from deceiving mankind He can try, but while his men sleep, the enemy works, so...

I'm left with the word WOW as well ... due to how incredibly short-sighted it is. Here, I'll show you why: I assume this video is talking about "Yahweh", the Hebrew god, when it talks about "God." As per The Bible, Yahweh is: 1. He knows the best way to communicate with us on an individual level.

@@stactionsmedia3318nice try but if God healed everyone who followed Him and none of us experienced pain, then everyone would follow Him to avoid pain not out of our own willingness to form a relationship with Him, which is what God wants. This is an atheist rebuttal as old as time that gets explained over and over again P.s how can we get upset at God for our suffering when He Himself (Jesus) experienced pain more than any of us. And FOR us. That old lady that's dying of cancer will now experience eternity in heaven because of what Jesus did on the cross for us to reconcile us with God. My grandma died from colon cancer and her last expression was a smiling one. She was very devout and gave her life to God. She died being taken to a place where now I bet she feels bad for US who are still here, not the other way around Lastly there ARE many people who pray during their stage 4 cancer who get miraculously healed. But when they talk about it atheists don't believe them anyway so what's the point. Most recently, Jordan Peterson's wife, was healed from a 100% fatal cancer, she was the first to survive it because of her faith

It's contradictory to suggest God doesn't need to provide empirical evidence to us for his existence, but that he did need to provide empirical evidence he was God when he came to earth. He did the very thing you said he shouldn't have to do for everyone.
@jaredkim2251

It’s not contradictory and in fact, it further proves God’s strength. The point is that he doesn’t have to do so. He has no obligation to revealing himself, nor any reason to. However, the beauty of Jesus Christ was his humility in coming from a place of absolute power to a humble sacrifice where he took on everyone’s worldly burdens WITHOUT HAVING TO. He suffered, was tortured, hated, defied to this day, all so that we could have the choice to live by remaining in him. He does this because of his love for you, for me, and for us. Therefore, God chose to make a contradiction to our righteousness and reveal himself despite the fact that he has no obligation to do so- simply out of God’s love for us.

@@jaredkim2251 None of what you said is a fact at all. We have no clue what parts of the stories about Jesus are factual. See, you pretend that Jesus's sacrifice is some fact that non-Christians choose to ignore, but it's not. It really isn't that. Non-Christians simply aren't convinced by the very fickle evidence of what Jesus supposedly did and what he supposedly was. So no, your word salad does nothing to disprove the Divine Hiddenness problem. God remains hidden. @@LeoVitalI was atheist and agnostic for years and came to faith when I opened my mind up to the idea of it. Regardless of if you believe or not what you have is presupposed. You come closest to the truth when you open yourself up to it. That is how science and rationality works. You open yourself up and explore all the options fully and thoroughly with intellectual honesty. Have you tried praying? Have you tried giving your life to Jesus? If you haven’t, then you have no right to say that someone’s faith is presupposed without being intellectually honest about what you have or have not tried. Otherwise, you are blind and biased.

@@jaredkim2251If we are to meet your own standard of having a "scientific" approach, we need falsifiable hypotheses that can be tested. In the UK, a "daily act of worship" is a legal obligation in all state schools, yet in the latest census, nearly 40% of the population say they have "no religion". So this strongly suggests that the idea that "trying praying" is a reliable route to a god has been falsified. How could we determine whether "giving your life to Jesus" works? i.e. what criteria could we use to determine whether someone has truly "given their life to Jesus"? Thanks

Do you ever think to wonder why you are worthy of this intervention but innocent children aren’t? “All the starving cancer kids aren’t doing Christianity right, but I am, so he helped me lift something when I ask.” Wouldn’t actually following Jesus’ example dictate that you ask not not for help lifting things, but to help the millions of poor unlucky children who are living short painful lives through no fault of their own?! Christianity is the tool the rich and powerful use to convince the poor that their suffering is noble, and that it’s not worth trying to make this world a better, more just place to live out the only life we actually have.

I definitely think that revealing himself personally to everyone individually would be a more effective way of revealing yourself as god. Assuming that you are truly omnipotent doesn't it cost you nothing to just go case by case? at the age they would be most accepting depending on the person, in the way they would be most reciprocal to? even after watching this is still dont understand how choosing a human form is the best way. An omnipotent and omnipotent being would find a way to reach everyone. Regardless I really enjoy these videos, I am currently a non believer but it is interesting to understand other perspectives and these videos are a well formed and entertaining way of going about that.

Now is the perfect time to ask Him because we are still in the time of Mercy, but nearing the end. He is giving His Grace to everyone who asks for it. But you must ask. When this time of Grace is over, which will be soon, it will be too late because God will be executing His justice on the world. See TLIG.

@@justsomeguy6336well but then that raises the question of what would be the most appropriate way for Him to reveal himself? A bright light in the sky? Whatever it may be, wouldn't that cause death though? Think about it: if you're driving a car and BAM, THIS HEAVENLY FIGURE JUST APPEARS, heck I'm sure there'll be casualties and death, doesn't seem like a loving God to me. I believe Him walking on Earth as a mere human, not an emperor, but a meek, kind and humble being is the best manner. While it does make it hard to accept the past as factual since well, years of spreading a word can cause it to be altered, the theology still exists in the Bible, the central idea, that this loving God wants to reconnect with us and have a relationship. @XSilvenX
@XSilvenX 10 ай бұрын
A lot of good points? Maybe to a beginner who hasn't adequately explored the deeper intellectual arguments for Christianity. Paulogia is responding to an oversimplified KZbin video that was never designed to be a rigorous apologetic worthy of prompting a thorough theological debate, but his audience will of course take his response as some massive takedown of Christianity, as if he's some special genius who's formulated brand new rebuttals after 2000 years... Regardless, I watched his video in full, and sure, Paulogia has a veneer of a "thoughtful" response, but like most Atheists, it's mostly based on a shallow understanding of the history, philosophy, and science (YES, science) surrounding the existence of Jesus, the resurrection event, and the notion of God in general. Paulogia uses all kinds of flawed human-perspective arguments for his responses to many of the points made in this video. One of the silliest was when he tried to claim that a BETTER way for God to reveal himself to the masses would be to reveal himself directly to all of us individually on our own timeline since God has the omniscience to KNOW when we'd accept that revelation... The obvious problem with that is, humans are complex. We have free will, and can be (through our vices, addictions, sin, etc.) closed off to the concept of God to the point where full blown denial for God can exist in spite of "direct" evidence, so this strategy doesn't really solve the problem. It's also not a matter of a simple revelation inside the mind of billions of people, as they themselves would be left confused as to whether they genuinely heard God, or perhaps thought it was some kind of illusion or mental affliction. Not to mention personal revelation among billions would incite even more confusion and discord among believers. It would be much simpler for God himself to come to Earth in order to set the record straight for all of time. God tactfully chose the correct location and time period with the prudence to know that his teachings (via the Catholic church) would survive all the way into the information age, which it did, given the fact that there are 1.3 billion Catholics in the world today and we're having this conversation. To insist that Paulogia as a mere person will have a "BETTER" plan for revelation than God himself is prideful and foolish, but that's your typical Atheist. They believe themselves so wise, while simultaneously possessing a laughable understanding of theology. Paulogia also twists and contorts the manner in which God spoke to Adam/Eve/Moses/etc. in the old testament to make it seem like this form of early revelation would apply the same for billions of people in the midst of sin and rebellion against God. It's just one of the silliest things you'll hear in his video, as it comes with the presumption that his level of planning and thinking is on par with God's. Is it possible that God may have reasons for his methods that you can't possibly understand given your place in the hierarchy of creation? None of this will make sense to an Atheist of course who thinks of himself as God.
@inezaa
@inezaa 10 ай бұрын
@@XSilvenXsorry, but I really don’t get the free will argument. We have free will, and? People will still reject the gospel - people are already doing that so what’s the difference? Majority of the world is not Christian. Surely there would be much a difference if god revealed himself to every human being. Especially when being tortured for eternity is the consequence. Lol
@XSilvenX
@XSilvenX 10 ай бұрын
@@inezaa I'll try my best to clarify the free will argument. So everyone knows Jesus spoke in parables as a mercy for those who are not yet ready to hear "the truth". He speaks in a way so that a person with the correct knowledge and heart (an earnest spiritual desire to know God) will understand, but a person whose heart has been darkened (typically in the midst of sin) can hear the very same message and it won't "click" for them. So even if a personal revelation were to somehow manifest in a darkened heart, that person will find a way to reject or "explain it away". A personal mental revelation itself can never be an overwhelmingly convincing "proof" for God to someone who is determined to disbelieve; they will just think they are crazy or hearing things, not to mention all the other potential issues that may come with that form of revelation if done en masse. The other side of the free will argument is, God does not want you FORCE you by obligation of KNOWING he exists to be a believer, he wants you to sincerely want it by virtue of your faith and willingness to believe or seek him out. It sounds anti-intellectual on the surface, but there's a deep spiritual reason for this, and in actuality, the church has a deep intellectual history untapped by many for the same reason; because they simply have no desire to look or are set to reject anything they come across regardless of its veracity. Think about how the typical person reacts with cognitive dissonance when met with information that contradicts their worldview or lifestyle, they will go to extreme lengths to AVOID the evidence. It's no different for belief in God. It goes beyond reason, evidence, logic, etc. It's deeply spiritual, which of course will not make sense to naturalists who reject the concept of a soul. To wrap up the "free will" stuff, if the belief in God didn't come with potential for doubt then belief would be compelled and the love believers have for God would be far less sincere. This is part of the reason former Atheists make some of the best Christians, as they've experienced both sides of an open and closed heart and have traveled a long and difficult path to understand and love God. People typically value something more when they have to work for it. If belief in God was compelled or automatic through irrefutable revelation, then it would not only undermine your free will, but it would rob God of a genuine two-way relationship with you. God is merciful enough to give you ample warning, and attempt multiple saves, but will not compel you to belief so he gives JUST enough clues to verify for those WILLING, but enough ambiguity and mystery for those who CHOOSE to live the worldly sinful life to do so without constant guilt, although you're embedded with an innate conscience and desire for God which should ideally guide you back to him, but as we all know, even that can be stifled. It's a bit complicated to unpack, but it's essentially the same principle behind why Jesus spoke in parables: www.gotquestions.org/Jesus-parables.html Another really good explanation here: www.quora.com/According-to-Mark-4-12-Jesus-speaks-in-parables-so-people-wont-figure-things-out-and-repent-Why-wouldnt-Jesus-want-people-to-understand-and-repent God "personally revealing himself" to the masses by force violates the above principle, which is why he does not use this revelation method for the masses. Yes, he has selected key individuals through history who were faithful but this doesn't apply to the masses. Atheists have the free will to reject God (ostensibly on intellectual grounds), but the true underlying reason at their core, is they simply don't want to believe in a God because they want to do their own thing, which God, in spite of ample warning, gives you every ability to do. He wouldn't be just if this weren't the case. As for most of the world not being Christian. It's simple. Many are still misguided, or fallen to false beliefs and religions. We're just now peaking in the age of information. Truth spreads fast. Did you think in 2024 the majority of U.S. culture would be against WOKE/SJW culture when just a few years ago it seemed like the entire country was caught up in it? You can thank the internet for that. Give it some time. Study human history. It takes many generations for cultures to change before the internet. It's only been 2000 years, and yet Christianity has spready by martyrdom to virtually every corner of the globe BEFORE the internet and even well before the printing press.

At the 2:36 timestamp, "If you're gonna reveal yourself, doesn't it make more sense just to do it once, and for everybody, rather than billions and billions and billions of times?" But I think you already answered that not even a minute earlier. You give the reason why once is a terrible idea. In fact, you offer the best version of my argument for why once isn't working, and won't work. At the 1:48 timestamp, "People are fickle." That's what I think too. If Christianity is true, then I'm not hating on Jesus or God or salvation or justice or eternity or healthy intellectual relationships when I say people are fickle. One reveal for everyone will lead to fractures and confusion, because of who we are. And again, all that is assuming Christianity is true. That's my problem with arguing for Christianity based on one event- not because of any approach about whether the event was true or trustworthy, but because the strategy for one event couldn't work to reach all of us. It can't reach all of us due to that quality of fickleness we humans share. People are fickle. I could not have made a better case against hiddenness than with these three words.

If you believe in an omnipotent creator, this video IS insulting it. This dude directly claims that god is not omnipotent by putting restraints on it. All those scenarios are completely irrelevant to an omnipotent being. It could just snap its fingers and solve those cases. It's amusing how christians always take away their god's omnipotence when god being truly omnipotent would be invonvenient to the story.

Jesus: John 8: 29 And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.” Jesus: John 6: 57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 2 Chronicles 16: 9 For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. Cause I can't see that as any less reasonable then blaming him for all the good and none of the bad, its all based on our opinion of him, a human made construct. GC1: Why not just go with option C? He could show himself to everyone, physically, individually, when there born, and have a relationship with them that way. GW1: God could do that, but he wouldn’t do it. Showing himself would not be sufficient. He would also need to communicate correct morality to us. He might do this when we are born, but babies do not understand language, and so God would communicate with all of humanity regularly, I suspect at least every seven years, so that everyone would get the “word.” God’s communication would not be to individuals, but to groups, in fact to the largest group of all - all living persons simultaneously. That way, it would be objective, not subjective, and there would be no disagreement about what God said. GC1: An all-knowing god wouldn't have to ask all these questions like "Oh should I show up physically, mentally, or spiritually?" He would just pick one and go with it. GW1: False. God would speak, in a human form, to all living persons at the same time. It would be like a lecture or press conference to all living persions. GC1: He also already knows the best time to show up in their lives. GW1: He doesn’t exist. But if he did, he would know that he would speak to all living persons at the same time, regularly, at least every seven years. God respected Paul's free will, Paul could still reject him. If you insist on point 1, then you are the one falling in a paradox. If you concede that point 2 is valid then you have to accept that God COULD, indeed, make people go through an experience like Paul's, while respecting their free will. If they just wrote you a letter once saying “I care” but never show up for years or even the rest of your life? Would that be a relationship? Would they be showing that they care? Why not have direct communication and intervention? Adam and Eve had that. Why couldn’t we have been presented with the same opportunity and choice? @@bond3161 Hi Bond, thank you for your reply. There's a great video on KZbin by Ascension Presents called "Why Be Catholic and Not Just Christian?" that discusses this topic if you're interested. To summarize, in Acts 15, there's a question regarding the need for Gentiles to be circumcised or not before being baptized. The problem was, Jesus never taught about that. As a result, we see the Apostles come together as an actual structure of the Church (Peter the pope, the Apostles, Paul & Barnabas, etc)...and this body of the Church gets together to discuss, debate, and pray. Ultimately, they decide that it seems to the Holy Spirit and to them that Gentiles do not need to be circumcised in order to be baptized. In this moment, we see that the actual, visible structure of the Church has the ability to teach definitively, and throughout history we continue to see the authority of the Catholic Church as it convenes to discuss issues and teach through different Church Councils. I hope you get a chance to watch the video because it has a great explanation, and thank you for reading!

The individualistic approach makes more sense because an all-knowing god would know that our brains form structures at a young age to determine reality from illusion, meaning that it is important to either A: Appear to us in a way that should be obvious to us based on our worldview, and work with us from there, or B. Appear to us in childhood so that our biases dont pollute our idea of reality.

Ananias and Sapphira died because they lied to the Holy Spirit. Eli’s sons were scoundrels even though they served as priests but Gods Holy Spirit had lifted and departed. A time is coming when God will come close again, when we obey the teachings of Jesus/Yeshua ( look at the sermon on the mount) but to those who do not follow him there will be torment (eg mental illness or death ) Gods presence can lift up the pure in heart or destroy the corrupt. That is the reason He does not reveal himself to everyone because He knows all corruption will be obliterated, so my point is that God , in his mercy, keeps at a distance so we are not destroyed, so as to give us time to turn back our hearts to him.

this is a very stupid question, you've even answered your own question in a reply, and your conclusion is also stupid. He introduced himself very well through Christ, and the fact you are here means you had somehow been introduced to the christian god beforehand and you're just upset with god for some reason, or you really haven't heard of christianity and you are trying to debunk christianity. Firstly, it can simply be said that we simply do not understand this higher being, meaning his actions may or may not be incomprehensible to us. Secondly, he may or may not have introduced himself to you personally in some way, without you realizing. For example, if a person told you about him, that may have been an introduction. If I were to give you the benefit of the doubt and say you really did not get an introduction ever, and the arguement "we just don't understand God" is prohibited, then my tertiary answer to your question would be that he just hadn't introduced himself to you, either since he had deducted that it would not benefit you in any way (or cause harm to you) to introduce himself, or that there is no point in introducing himself since your bias is already set in against his existance. That is your answer, and you can take whichever of the three possible ones, even if it is dissatisfying. your own conclusion is horrible. How do greek myths seem as valuable to you as the bible? One is empirical evidince towards god, gathered from word of mouth, stating outright what happened and what had not, with decent backup for it's claims in events and records, while the other is myth and fairy tales. God can be all powerful, and not have introduced himself to you for a variety of reasons, as I explained earlier. Now, you can look at the evidence towards god's existance and accept that there is a logical explanation to why he hadn't introduced himself, while existing, or proclaim it all as illegitemate, and say that christianity is a fraud for example by saying something along the lines of "Jesus faked his miracles" which can't be disproven since neither of us were actually there to see him turn water to wine, or come back to life. Sadly, faith is called faith for a reason, since it can't actually be proven in an undebunkable manner. An atheist point of view will always be able to say "You can't prove to me god exists" and that would be absolutely right, it is impossible to prove, but at the same time no one can definitevely disprove god's existance either, so it's up to you to take one of two equally reasonable approaches, regarding belief in christianity. Now, if you wouldn't mind, take your possible answers, do whatever you'd like with them and if you want to keep complaining about how god hadn't introduced himself to you, and stating how little you care (while very obviously caring, seeing how you had written 3 whole paragraphs on the topic) go to r/atheism or something, because the debate will always conclude with "I can't prove you are wrong, you can't prove I am wrong" if argued well.

As a skeptical Christian, I'm always happy to see non-Christians look at things about God with a critical eye, because acknowledging the other option and taking in information about it is far more intelligent of a choice than ignoring it. I wouldn't say these videos are the word of God, but they do give some good summaries and thoughts based on God's word.

Maybe Math and physics were used by god to create us and the universe. Imagine someone that is so intelligent that he could create that like I think when I thought about this I was like I hope I will meet him one day cuz I wanna see some stuff like imagine you can talk to him and he explains how he made the universe. I always have doubts and question stuff too. But there is a possibility that there is a god and I think there is a god maybe it’s not the religious god maybe it is but look at the probability of life in the universe. It’s crazy

Please don't encourage him, he doesn't need encouragement at all: I assume this video is talking about "Yahweh", the Hebrew god, when it talks about "God." As per The Bible, Yahweh is: 1. He knows the best way to communicate with us on an individual level.

Videos like these refresh my joy in deconverting. I'm so glad that the days of grinning and bearing terrible explanations for the paucity of evidence that God exists like this, are now over. This particular issue is irritating because the Christian has to commit themselves to denying perfectly reasonable ways God could've made his existence clear and not "coercive", because to admit anything else undermines their religion. Intellectual honesty on this issue by believers is almost by definition impossible.

@@vivialanis9521 Regarding the tower of babel, it wasn’t really a tower, it was more akin to that of the Mesoamerican pyramids. But it was a symbol of vanity against God(humanity’s pride and arrogance). But if God did show himself in front of people, there will still be people who rejects his love. Or there are people who only worship God out of fear and capitulation to his Might. It contradicts that divine concept of love that God was trying to profess to humanity since if we are ‘made’ to believe him, then how does that make us free. Which is why faith is important and a precedent in any exchange that concerns love. Regarding your apple metaphor, if the apple does materially and naturally exists, then how can you not believe it? Sure you can reject it’s existence, but behind what pretense? That we live in a simulated reality? In a way, you are kinda forced to believe that the apple exists since rationally, you know that it’s a structural, tangible and formed matter of substance.

If this God wanted a personal relationship with every human being, he could find a way to do it - without violating free will, forcing anything on anyone, or breaking any of the other rules of Christianity. It makes zero sense that this God would appear for a mere 33 years (really 3 years of active duty), in one place only, endure the worst sacrifice conceivable to secure a personal relationship...and then just go away. There are other objections I have as well. But I will leave it at that. Not yelling at you either. I honestly respect this question.

A. If god revealed himself to everyone then it would be like Eden again. Whole point is human sin and corruption severed that tie. B. Sin and evil exist because without it free will cannot exist. Free will cannot exist because everything you do is defined toward it against god. God is good, therefore no evil means all good which means no free will. C. If everyone knew god fully because he revealed himself to everyone personally there wouldn’t be free will because people would actively have to believe. God is truth, then everyone believes because everyone knows. Therefore, if God were to do so it violates free will and belief… which would be not good because that would mean true love and relationships cannot exist because they would be forced. Even when Jesus revealed himself people could deny him because he had nuance.

I disagree, because if he isn’t bound by space and time, he can individually reach every human at any given time and at any point in space, but he doesn’t, given atheist who don’t believe in god. He also does by definition alter our minds, if we take miracles into account. One could argue that his appearance as Jesus was his way of communicating his message. But why doesn’t a timeless being with infinite power always have a “Jesus” on earth. That would require minimal energy from his side, considering he created the whole universe. Why then when our technology was so primitive. Not to mention life outside of earth what about them. Do they have their own Jesus. What if they have a better connection to god than we do. What then?

I used to be a very religious Christian, but as I grew up, questions began to spring up in my mind that defied and contradicted what was written. Now, I find myself wanting to believe and seeking answers. You mentioned free will in this video and one question that has plagued my mind for years, without answers, is this: if God, who is omnipotent and omniscient, knows with absolute certainty that I will eat pancakes for breakfast tomorrow instead of cereal, and if his knowledge of something is infallible, because he is infallible, then I cannot choose to eat cereal for breakfast tomorrow. This contradicts with the concept of my free will and freedom to choose any other option aside from pancakes. And? Well yes obviously God knows about that, but how does that affect your Free Will at all? After all you still make the choice yourself. In my opinion many christians keep asking the wrong question without thinking it about first. Your Question is far from unanswerable if you actually think about it. In fact your question doesn't even seem to have any causality at all. For example your Father reads newspaper on his favorite couch, does it prevent you from doing anything you want such as studying, or getting food on the fridge? No, not at all. Now do you see the flaw on your question? it's obvious that just because God knows everything about you, that doesn't mean your free will is nonexistent, afterall you still make all of the decisions yourself. I have to be honest with you, i did ask the same question about 7-8 years ago, but after a while i found the answer, and the answer was that simple.

Well... The answer seems simple. IF god can do anything, the deity(s?) should be able to individually prescribe the revelation to every individual's burden of proof of existence threshold. So, if one person requires a tap on the shoulder, so be it. If another requires a series of cosmic phenomenon, so be it. And, a deity of this magnitude and purported power should be able to do this with anyone and everyone simulataneously. But it doesn't. Why? Well produced video by the way.

You watching this video can possibly be God calling you and "tapping" your shoulder. He will not force you to seek Him. We all have free-will to choose God or to reject Him. Let me tell you first hand, choosing God has completely transformed and changed my life. I noticed that those who humble themselves to God and seek Him with a genuine heart and child-like trust are the ones who feel His presence in their souls, and those who reject Him and seek Him with pride and arrogance are the ones who question how we can "feel" a God who doesn't show Himself to us. @@a.r.4093 So, thank you for the response. It was very thoughtful and I appreciate your experience as you experienced your revelation, and for how you believe that it has improved your life. I explore these types of videos from two angles. The first, is a genuine curiosity in attempts at hearing honest answers to the sorts questions that I have asked people of all faiths and persuasions throughout my limited existence. Secondly, I really enjoy looking to see how different people construct and produce content on social media platforms, from a technical perspective. I am a an Agnostic. To call oneself an Atheist is arrogant in my opinion because it conveys an absolutism that has yet to be proven one way or another. For me, it's like saying, "I know the answer" when one can't prove unequivocally anything at all. I am not an enemy of faith, nor do I begrudge individuals for whatever they believe in. That's on them. All arguments that I have heard on behalf of the existence of any god are made from authority. One cannot objectively prove the presence of a higher power simply because a book was written about it. Observable, testable, repeatable fact is what defines my world. Proof. It is not on the person challenging the assertion that there is a god(s) to disprove the assertion. It is on the person making the assertion to prove their claim. I think that it would be beyond amazing if god(s) proved their divine existence and authority (though they would have a lot of things to answer for). How cool would that be? But it hasn't been done. Ever. Objectively, observationally speaking.
