Great video Peter. I knew about Imber and the annual bus convoy but thought it was only to and from Salisbury. Some 4 miles south east of Imber between Tilshead and Chitterne is Copehill down " German" village, a mock village where no one has ever lived. It was built so soldiers could practice fighting in a real German village -- it was thought the soviets might invade from Poland. You can see it on google Earth. you can get quite close to it on public paths. Also you can google COPEHILL DOWN VILLAGE.
