Great discussion with Msriano who is very knowlegeable on Foreign Exchange. Our TT Central Bank need to assess the Foreign Exchange requirements to keep a realistic inventory supply of money for TT Commercial and Domestic usage. All our industries retailing merchants and TT residents need the Foreign Exchange for Business transactions and for Fireign Travels. Great Show. I write with concern and interest for TT Foreign Exchange shortage. Keep up the good work.

Mariano is always fair and practical in his analysis. Until the Governement actually focus on efforts to organically grow the economy, instead of taxing day light out if it, we not going to escape these problems. Its simple economics, we need to aggressively tackle our food important bill, and do an analysis on all items necessary for our standard of living that we import, then create policy aim at producing locally and opening up our manufacturing across ALL SECTORS.

⁠@@jackedup2007how he is a pnm when he is constantly criticizing the pnm. For the last 15 years trinidad economy has been relatively stagnant away from the oil and gas and narcotics (illegal drug) sector which you cant deny also helps our economy. The last attempts to diversify would be pre unc 2010. The current government has done nothing to stimulate growth in all sectors and has tried to tax our way out of this crisis and hope for a gas boom in 2027

@@868Doescrack 15 years my ass. T&T did not stagnate from 2010 to 2015. It has been totally decimated by this PNM government and this clown starts off with throwing shade on the UNC in 2014 which was handled by the host very well. He's 100% PNM and his word salad shows most Trinis can't even understand what the hell he was even saying

@ you are very biased i disapprove of rowley but name one economic plan the pp executed. In term of social and crime plans the pp were way more effective but overall economic. The economy was good because of the doings of the past administration. Example we agree this current PNM government has done the bare minimum however lets say dragon gas succeeds and comes online in 2027 however a new party is in power. We can still say the last PNM administration was mess but if in 2028 we are going through a gas we also cannot give credit the new administration. The narrative should be last administration was a mess but at least the sorted out the gas deals

@@868Doescrack Come on, wake up. There is no Dragon; there never was. This is all smoke and mirrors. Why do you think they are afraid to show you the details of that agreement? They also hide behind secrecy and non-transparency. Plus, the US is not going to let anyone deal with Maduro now like Rowley did, having a secret meeting with them and fronting their oil through the back door. Wake up.

I have been enjoying the show much more recently, here is my issue with what he is about 90% imports, that may be mostly vehicles. I aways purchase only 100% made in Trinidad products and I do have any problem getting products. I cannot do the same in any other country. In the Bahamas they import 90% so you cannot survive on buying local. If the PNM and UNC stop fighting when the opportunity for foreign investment exist, foreign exchange issue would not be so bad. Trini have so much money in the banks and desire to spend some oversees, shopping on Amazon for 100% Cheap China made products. Most people in other countries traveling do not have so much cash to spend they can barely pay for the trip. I wish everyone will work together to make Trinidad beautify, clean up the county, gov buildings, their yards, sidewalks, streets, business, houses, care for the beautifully parks and rec areas, paint the buildings, paint the homes, fix the roofs, business properly dispose of trash. With the high personal saving rate, they have the money to cleanup and fix. If the rest of the country could look like the beautiful malls that will increase happiness...
