The loan shark is the ImperialMafiaFund. Unlike the sanctions giant and its weaponization of everything, China is not interested in such short-term, myopic thinking of debt trappings that impedes long-term prosperity. China is very much invested in the success of the BRI countries for trade and development because that is exactly how it thrives in the long run. Your success is China’s success, your failure is also their failure to diversify trade away from the dollar.

It’s not only the high interest rates and tariffs that the imf charge it’s the rules that they force countries to do to destroy their sovereignty.

Outright , those who owed IMF denominated in USD will never be able to pay back since the USD escalated so much against borrowers. The USD is real trap indeed.

Understanding the sounding slogan for BRI as “discuss together, build together and prosper together”, one should never overlook the true nature of non-coercive self-willingness from developing countries approaching China to build infrastructure needed to develop their economy and therefore improve their standard of living. The key point is the Chinese is willing to provide both civil engineering and financial support to developing countries based upon what their success formula exiting from extreme poverty into modern and prosperous society.

China offered cheap quality goods worldwide. Besides, it allows the importers to pay with their local currencies . China helps to ease inflation worldwide.

The most tricky part of China’s de-dollarization move is to use dollar for de-dollarization. You may wonder how this move works. Simple as that. China loans dollar to developing country friendly to China at time of short of dollar liquidity and set straight terms use RMB for pay back. This reduce if not break down at all, dollar tide set by FED whilst expanding economic influence by exporting dollar at time of FED interest hike.

Dr David, Born in Laos and raised in France and the USA…I came to understand that the West/Imf had been given Loans to the Lao Government before and after the Vietnam war which I was part of the 1975 kids. About 50 years later, Laos infrastructures still remain the same as in 1975 so my question is “what happened to all the money from the IMF and others donations to rebuild or help Laos standard of living etc…Nothing happened. With the Bri…Train has been built. Pretty much with IMF funds…they go directly to the people who run Laos pockets however it is the citizens who suffer. With the Bri…the country actually sees materializations of infrastructures.

Both are traps, the IMF is an interest trap while BRI is a trade trap, the latter will produce value for it forces you to participate in trade where value is transferred 2 directions unlike IMF being sole beneficiary of value.

BRI Kabul 2024. The Talebans have completed a highway along the Wakhan Corridor to the Chinese border. This highway will link up with Kashgar in Xinjiang. China is studying the proposals. In the meantime, Beijing has invited the Talebans to utilise the CPEC Gwadar to Kashgar roads and railways infrastructure. Afghanistan is a land locked country, access to Gwadar Port or Kashgar is vital for Kabul.
