Ben Davis would be a 4th - 5th place team in the Trinity league, behind MD, Bosco and OLU this year and perhaps SM. Cali went to Texas, won then Florida, won, went to Bishop, won. And yes beat IMG. The two best HS teams in the nation - proven so play in the same league in SoCal. To claim #1, you have to beat the winner of the Trinity league, period.

Both Mater Dei and Bosco have played top ranked national teams and beat them, my original statement still stands, to be ranked #1 you have to win the Trinity league that means beating the winner between Mater Dei and Bosco.

MD and Bosco, although private schools have to adhere to the Cali school system criteria for graduation, specific classes, credits etc. IMG is a sports academy, they do not adhere to the Florida public educational system. Basically IMG is all sports, no basic education. Cali said no go after MD played and won.
