Thank you Dr Raja for your clarity and for this enlightening interview. It would be nice to also interview an IMG doctor who recently secured an ST 3 post in General Surgery in the UK. I am inundated with stories of how saturated the UK job market has neen of late for IMGS. I want you to speak to this as it pertains to us imgs seeking training and development in the UK. Thank you.

For joining St3, there is a criteria mentioned that there should be no more than 60 months of experience in Obs and gynae. According to ma’am, she has 6 years of the same. I didnt quite understand the loop hole here. Please guide.

Sir a great content you have Really appreciate your work Just a question i know its a bit silly and long one I am having MRCP 1 2 with two years of general medicine and three years of cardiology training in FCPS programme I wanna know whether I'll be eligible for ST training in my speciality or not when I am done with my MRCP PACES or for me only CESR option is left In Pakistan group 1 specialities are having two years of general medicine training while the required IMT is three years which concerns me the most.

If you pass full MRCP and get the alternative competencies form of IMT signed. You will be eligible to apply for the ST Training

How to secure the first job in nhs after completing MRCOG, do we apply for junior fellow or specialty registrar
@IMGsofNHS4 ай бұрын
You can apply for both, the junior doctor roles and the middle-grade roles. All depends on your confidence level.
