Isaac Henderson's death is so memorable. Also, I like the shadow detail when he's floating in mid air and he can't do anything except being sucked up dry. Very creative and horrifying at the same time.

Baast and Sekmet, goddesses with a cat and a lion's head respectively, are the bodyguards of Ra, protecting him from demons, undead, and the chaos serpent Apophis, every night during his journey through the underworld. Baast was also tasked with hunting down and destroying and undead or demons who escaped the underworld to the land of the living, with normal cats being her spies. While he is undead, Imhotep fears catching the goddess's attantion and subsequent wrath, so he flees the presence of any cat he sees.

If you watch DB Super. The God is Destruction is a Cat, Lord Beerus. Most likely a naked Sphinx naked Cat 😆 (actually expensive cuz their rare) Cats seem better than Dogs. They are tremendously respected and sacred in Middle East.

One could say that these movies started and ended with Imhotep as he was the original titular Mummy of this franchise. Also the third one just felt so far removed from the Egyptian theming of the first two even if they may have been attempting to branch the franchise off into a new direction at the time.
