Bra advice here! A properly fitting bra is a game-changer both for how garments look and feel on you, but also how *you* feel because when you have the correct sizing there should be nothing digging into you, but you should also have your body supported and balanced to encourage good posture. So.. I say all that to say, there is never anything wrong with or weird about your measurements :) I highly recommend going to a consultation and have your measurements done for a bra fitting. I know this can be VERY intimidating though so in leiu of that as far as online goes, Torrid bras have very friendly measurement ranges, and band sizes come in all cup sizes beginning with A up to at least DD or beyond. In a nutshell: + Measure or get measured specifically for a bra + WHEN YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE: Go for a fitting in person (look up reviews) + Find a quality brand you like that feels comfortable and supportive while achieving your desired look + It is worth it to spend some extra money for a good bra (in terms of $20 vs. $60 for example, the quality does tend to matter) + A standard cupped underwire bra in a fabric around your skin-tone shade with a plunge neckline is a great starting place "default" or "all purpose" bra I hope this helps! Yep - almost everyone who visits a professional bra fitter discovers they've been wearing something completely unsuited to their true shape and size. A fitting is genuinely one of the best investments a person who needs a bra can make - it can even save you from future health problems (which, in the US, means saving money too). In my opinion they should offer people fittings as part of a national health campaign every ten years! 🖤
