Hey everyone!
Today, the Firefly trailer dropped, and tomorrow the banner with her is coming out. Firefly is a fire DPS destruction character. She scales with Break Effect and deals a lot of damage to broken targets. Another plus is that she applies Fire Weakness to enemies with her skill and enhanced ability.

3:18 Putting Hanya instead of Sparkle would be better since Sparkle boosts Crit Damage and Firefly does not really want any Crit Damage. But the Speed and Attack buff Hanya would provide is good for Firefly and also give her some Skill Points

Firefly seems cool and all, but I saw some calcs that something like 75% of her damage is Harmony MC's Super Breaks. That's not a huge deal because HMC is free so you're guaranteed to have them. But it puts some of those big numbers into a different context when you realize that 3/4 of it is coming from the support rather than Firefly herself. That's not me trying to say you shouldn't pull her if you like her. She's just not for me.

That's a fair opinion, and I absolutely am not going to disagree or bash your comment, but I wish to offer some additional insight. While it is true that HMC makes her into a whole other character, you can also think of it this way: she's the character who benefits most from HMC kit. The Superbreak damage sees big numbers due to the higher break effect and spd breakpoints that FF can reach, allowing her to fully utilize HMC's kit in the form of perfect synergy. To those who seem skeptical of Firefly and HMC's odd situation, I hope you can also try to see it from this perspective.

@@norgedout Yeah its normal, she uses hmc that well that they couldn't make her stronget by herself like boothill to be more flexible, but it doesn't matter if you manage to ger ruan mei too, hmc will be powercreep someday in the future, and gallagher is rumored to be replaced soon (Also firefly and her team is the one that uses gallagher the best too)

Maybe then people wouldn't find her overly dependent on HMC I'm pulling cuz Mecha lol. I have heard about the 5 star break healer, I'm looking forward to it, and yeah, HMC is such a good support for being Free, that I wonder how much they'll improve a limited 5 star version of em

*Firefly Pros:* -Outside her Enhanced State, Firefly's Skill deals damage at the cost of her own HP and restores her Energy. -When Firefly has low HP, less damage is sustained when she uses her Skill. When Complete Combustion is activated, Firefly will receive an Effect RES buff. -Firefly's Ultimate makes her enter the Complete Combustion and advances her action by 100%. The Complete Combustion state enhances both her Basic ATK and Skill. This state also buffs her SPD, increases her Break Efficiency, and increases the Break DMG received by enemies from her Enhanced Skill. Firefly will restore HP every time she attacks during Complete Combustion. -Firefly's Enhanced Skill during Complete Combustion deals damage based on her Break Effect and can apply a Fire weakness onto an enemy. The Enhanced Skill will also deal more Toughness damage. -Firefly's Complete Combustion state has a countdown, and you can see the icon in the turn order. Once the Complete Combustion's turn is up, Firefly's Enhanced state will end. Meaning you can deal enhanced skill damage as long she is fast enough instead of talent reliant (Jingliu) *Firefly cons:* -If somehow you let the enemy that have a shield skill like Gepard. I mean her best team is pretty SP positive so that's not really a problem. Once you get the ball rolling with the first HMC ult, firefly alone can keep getting energy for it by constantly breaking. Ruan Mei is SP positive and you rarely use the skill on Gallagher. Not to mention you can basic attack, ult and basic again for a small burst of SP.
