completely off subject but i cant thank you enough for the productivity toolbar. im 52 and not super computer savy and ive been on the fence about going all in on studio one from pro tools. but i watched the vid twice and installed it yesterday and set my fx things up and dang.....total game changer again thanks so much for sharing it

Also you can send loops and samples to impact xt and sample while listening to them in your sound libraries. That's how I do it and I love that.

I really need to dig more on sample base composition. I mainly use acoustic instrument or virtual instrument and I kind of left samples outside of my workflow. However, today I learned from you that we can stack sample and that's a huge difference for me. Do you know if there is a sample number limit on one pad. I mean it could be pretty easy to program some sample base instrument just for impact with like 10 or more sample on each pad.

Hey Ivan do you know why IMPACT XT will not let me overdub? For example, if I record kick and snare in one go, it will allow it, but if I record a kick stop the session and then try to record snare record over the kick. And I don’t hear the kik at all. Can someone please help. I hope my explanation makes sense. Thank you.

I notice you kept all the drums on stereo tracks. Should you not for example set your pick to a mono track instead of a stereo track ??

You could. I've actually never even paid attention, Lol. Now that I'm looking at it, the kick sample I used in this video bounced to a stereo file, so it probably kept its format in Impact.

Am still gonna say this, my down side with Impact XT is not having fades and delay shift control for each pad. Common even logic pro did with there new samplers. I still don't believe we don't have it inside studio one after all this year's.

When third party samples are loaded into the drum sampler it changes the sound of the wave.this is very annoying..
