If you’re looking for a quick way for some angle, DriftHQ has these adapters that you use with the stock arms and they add a fair amount of angle. But either way you can tell you’re progressing quick has hell!!!

Consider front tire pressure as well. You may be spining out from too much grip in the front. You can try running some caster in the front as well. 2 degrees out of front caster in the front wheels for a start. Maybe also help to prevent spinning out

That run round 16:00 was so much better. One reason being cuz of your steering input and you letting the wheel just flow freely a lot more instead of forcing it. That lap at 36:15 was so good congrats bro

Bmw E46 have a spindle design that isnt great for steering feel or self-steer. Increasing caster can help. Angle kits like SLR will quicken steering as well. Either way keep it up and glad to see you do this in a wagon. I just can't make myself drift mine.

instead of just "kicking" your clutch to first initiate your drift hold the clutch in for a half second longer to allow that heavy flywheel to get high enough in the rpm range when you release the clutch. also stiffer trans mounts and diff mounts and stiffer springs in the rear will fix that wheel hop. if you have too much understeer then take off your front sway bar. for lower power applications general rule is a stiffer rear end will transfer the weight to the front faster. also adjust your dampening front should be stiff while rear dampening should be soft. that wagon is heavy, and low on power. you're gonna need a lot stiffer set up you still got hella body roll so a lot of your power is being lost through the weight transfer. hope it helps brother
Fore drifts use cluchi kiks and throtle control more gas=ga more outside last gas = go more inside

the wheel spinning by itself it's called self steer and is absolutely necessary to drift, if is not self steering or not self steering fast enough it could be a binding issue(tie rods, rack, tire rubbing) or caster it usually is a combination of both. keep up the great work!

Joel, I've watched your last too long drift movies :) I don't want to play smart ass, but look at my onboards if you want/have time and search for the differences. You are analysing a lot - that's good overall, cause you want to understand what is wrong. In my opinion I know what is wrong, cause I was 'there' already :) On Englishtown were 2 aspects: first and most immportant THERE was lack of power. You can not search for grip in 150whp car with heavy body and long diff. There was needed 110% commitment and ideal transission points. Here was just one of two aspects from Englishtown, cause power was enough. Your selfsteering is working too slow in the places, when you are trying to make fast transissions. Try to catch it: the innitiation, first, second and last transission were hard. BUT long right sweeper, which is way faster, was more or less EVERY TIME good. Why? There you were letting the gas just a tip and transsion was SLOWER. In this moment your selfsteer is fast enough to the weight changing direction. On tight corners you were letting the gas almost to 0, that causes fast weight transfer. For that your selfsteer is not prepared. Ofcourse you can menage that on stock angle :) But you have to think about slow transission and work out for them a lot. My advice: not for the angle, but for better selfsteer - buy cnc71 lock adaptors. Nothing more. Good alignment and go feel the difference :)
