tell the single cam to get the mfactory 3rd gear set. i had the same problem. now 3rd is go gear. just feels weird shifting between 4th and 5th on the highway, because the old 3rd is now 4th. syncrotech did it for me. great job

My d16z6 made 433whp 307wtq at 21psi stock cam and intake. Rc 1000 aem fuel rail regulater fuel filter 255 walbro pump. 5431 precision turbo. Vitara 75.5 p2po custom length rods. I built it in my kitchen. 2000 civic ex. I took over 200 pounds out.

Can you explain, in a video, the differences between hondata and KTuner in terms of ECUs supported and prepping an EG/DC2/EK for KTuner. I know all about Hondata products, but it’s difficult to learn anything about KTuner. Thus making it difficult to plan a “best bang for buck” build.

So I bought a k24z3 engine from a 2012 Acura TSX to put in a 1994 eg civic. Any suggestions?

Swap over a k20 head if you want to keep it n/a, other then a few bolts and an oil passage not aligning its a bolt on affair. Turbo/ supercharged is your only option if you want to make decent power utilizing the stock head. Even then you will be limited on how much power you'll be able to make.

@@olderrol1968 k24a4 head qould qork great for n/a as well, but you'll be limited in flow by the stock cams. If you plan on running it as a "vtec killer" setup you can easily see 250-260hp. If you plan on using the stock cams you're better off sticking with the stock k24z3 head as that will outperform it.

@@olderrol1968 unfortunately they do not just drop in. The k24z3 uses the same vtec mechanism as the k20a2 on the intake side and a 1 lobe on the exhaust side. The exhaust might be drop in but the intake will not be.
