On Wednesday I had egg retrieval of 7 eggs, all immature :( I have PCOS and 85 kg at 1.58 cm. AMH is 4.6 and rest of hormon tests are normal. What was wrong in the tratament ? I had ovaleep 8 days of injections.

AFC- 8 follicles, AMH-2.17, 24-28 day cycle. We were supposed to finish in Day 10, but follicle size increased rapidly on Day 9; hence we had trigger on Day 9. We ended up with only 3 mature eggs, 5 immature eggs (3 still in PI). What do u think went wrong?

Hello Doctor, thank you very much for this informative video. I went through IVF procedure but on egg retrieval embryologist found my eggs were immature and had very thick zone pellucida. Doctor I am 38 years with AMH count 3.6. What could be the reasons. DO I have any problem or the procedure was not performed well? Kindly suggest. Thanking you in advance.

It may be post mature eggs especially trigger was done when leading follicle more than 20-22mm in 38yrs old lady.

Dear Dr Gudi, Greetings. I have been following your channel and learnt quite a lot. It is a very unique way of making content. Have also shared it with my fertility colleagues in mumbai. Coming back to this case. I would give a pretreatment with OCs and give a pill free 7 days. Start stimulation with Rec- FSH 300 plus low dose HMG if only HMG was used or HMG 450 if rec fsh was used in earlier cycle. The idea being to recruit as many as possible and get max no of oocytes. Counsel her of freeze all in case the follicle no is more than 15 and also probably think of a dual trigger. The only contention to using HMG 150 is that it might result in fewer follicular recruitment and fewer oocytes . Would be interested in having your opinion. Thank you very much.

Hello Doctor, Thank you for your advice and I just failed my first IVF due to all 14 collected immature eggs and according to embryologist 12 were fertilized but failed to survive after 2nd day. my doctor said even with 2nd IVF the chances of happening the same results is high, So he advised me for a donor egg as my egg is the problem.
