The obvious takeaway here is that prismatic shard is the best relic and should be snap purchased whenever possible.
@CyThirtyFive4 жыл бұрын
Well all relics and cards have a tier. It starts with "the boot" at number 1 and "snecko eye" as the worst. Basically the game is about picking the best one no matter the circumstance. That's why Jorbs uses spreadsheets.
@spilledbeansrecords56854 жыл бұрын
Yes, Jorbs has explicitly said on stream that he uses universal tier lists to every item, encounter and card in the game. That's why he is always optimal.

Started with Tiny House and Prismatic Shard, ended with a consistent infinite damage, infinite block, infinite energy combo based on common colorless cards, terrible relics, and a ton of card draw and exhaust. I agree completely: hall of fame run.

I know you made this comment 10 months ago, but just recently (about 1.5 weeks ago) jorbs did a run where he applied so much poison that it buffer overflow'd the damage value and it was... fucking hilarious to say the least. I think the funniest takeaway is how little shard ended up contributing to late game. Found Deep Breath and Flash of Steel the normal ways (at memory cube and a store), and deck exhausts with 99% ironclad cards i.e. the normal way a flash of steel infinite works in ironclad. Incredible.

9:45 I disagree. I have a better ironclad win rate with an early prismatic shard than without. The comment about the existence of watcher buffing prismatic shard is spot on, and the ironclad card pool has a lot of synergy with the watcher card pool (which is important because your stores are still iron clad).

hey. i know you hate it when people tell you what to do but i just wanted to get your opinion on something from the end of the run. you chose to go infinite which when it is done it can kill any enemy/boss on the spot except for the heart because it has the damage recieving cap. i think retrospectively that the prismatic shard helped out a lot with getting the block required to survive the 4 turns of the heart fight, because i don't know of any card other than talk to the hand that can generate a good amount of block without sending itself to the draw pile and harming the infinite. what i am asking is this: if you were in a situation where the opportunity to go infinite presented itself and you chose to take it, and then you had the opportunity to also by prismatic shard afterwards, would you have gotten it in an attempt to fish for talk to the hand? or is there another solution to surviving the 4 turns of the heart fight? any constructive response would be much appreciated.
